upon entering the hotel metro you’re greeted by staff all the way to the restaurant which doesn’t sits just off the uniquely decorated lobby. we dined for bruch and we started with beignets (unpictured), they were light and airy as expected and very hot, obviously meaning they were fresh.

for brunch i actually ordered the veggie benedict. i requested that they work some gruyere into the dish as well. the eggs’ consistency was perfect as i cut in it oozed out and the hollandaise was tasty too.

my wife had the spinach omelette which was cooked to perfection with really crispy bacon on the side.

the staff was beyond friendly and gave recommendations as we ordered too. i will definitely come when visiting milwaukee.

metro. hotel metro. great location. great hotel. food, drink, service are all decent and sometimes even quite good. this hotel venue could take things up a notch in both environment and service professionalism (given the generally excellent stature of the hotel), but worth a visit!

wonderful!!!. what a great surprise!
this romantic restaurant is fabulous. the staff is attentive without being intrusive. the food is delicious, and the menu has so many tempting options we are anxious to turn to this special hotel and marvelous restaurant!
worth the drive from chicago for a fun getaway.

met a friend at metro - love their house wine (stones throw pinot grigio!)! ate a filet and chicken caesar salad! awesome! love what the new look is about and the service was great! going back friday for $5 martini's and fish fry with friends prior to a movie!!!

went for brunch. overall it was just ok. service was great, very polite waiter. i had the kobe burger and gumbo it was great. steak an eggs was not good at all. steak was tough and not well prepared. just ok overall but would go back for dinner

perfect for a quiet sunday brunch. this is one of our favorite spots for a peaceful sunday brunch. sophisticated yet cozy, metro's subdued atmosphere sets the stage for a very relaxing meal. good food and great service. you can make a meal out of the bloody marys alone. although we haven't been there for other meals, i definitely recommend their brunch.
