super impressed with our spread. coconut club, asparagus mac n cheese, and beer buttered dill pickles. we are food snobs from the south and really enjoying this place! might eat here tomorrow night too!

very nice little place. i thoroughly enjoyed my labor day weekend lunch here. the beer selection is a nice mix of craft beers with a strong local flair.

the food is excellent. i had a pulled pork sandwich: baby spinach sharp provolone garlic mayo...absolutely fantastic. the fresh cut fries were tasty as well. i also had a side plate of beer grilled wings that were delicious, and i'm not even a big wing person to begin with. there is also a food truck and beer garden next door to the restaurant.

the price is right as well, not overpriced. i will be back the next time i am in town. keep up the great work!

great food and drink! local little corner pub that has fantastic fried pickles and unique food options. the chile peanut kale salad is fresh and crunchy, and the beers are local and delicious. great place for a laid back week night meal.

love love love this place! for a bar with amazing food and an excellent beer list, there is not an ounce of pretentiousness. i ordered the cheddar and jalapeño meatloaf with mashed potatoes and peas. the meatloaf was topped with an onion jam that was out of this world. i mean amazing. my boyfriend had the port richmond platter and raved about it. eating at memphis taproom is like eating in your grandma's kitchen...if your grandma also served you local beers...and was a chef.

the food (and beer) is always great when i visit here. small place with a cool vibe. service is average but generally friendly. sometimes they can be little snobby about the craft beer selection if you ask about them (i am only semi-knowledgeable about beer). overall, i enjoy coming here when i visit philly.

went to the memphis taproom for the first time on memorial day 2012 with some friends. choose this place because they are both vegetarian but i'm not. their menu has a good variety of unique vegetarian options. the food was really good, we all loved everything we ordered including the hummus app, the smoked coconut club, slow roasted pork sandwich and the chicken fried portobella sandwich. the 3 beers we tried were very good as well. the service was speedy and our waiter had a very extensive knowledge of the beer selection. the atmosphere was pleasant and not too loud like some bars can be. this place is not much to look at but it makes up for in food quality and flavor. definitely check it out.

one of the best in philly!. this gem in the fishtown/kensington area is hidden on the corner of row homes upon row homes in a clean, trendy area. my wife and i have been here several times and have never been disappointed. we often bring friends here because it's always good and accommodates every preference from vegan to meat lover.

must tries: fried pickles are the best in the city with light breading and a great sauce. smoked coconut club: i am not a vegetarian, but i was blown away by the combination of flavors...this is the way to prepare tofu! chicken fried chicken was fantastic with great spice. the fish and chips was crunchy and breaded perfectly.

we will continue to recommend the taproom and bring friends here...it's a philly favorite. we need to come back and try the gourmet hot dogs in the beer garden. can't wait!

went to memphis taproom for the first time on sunday for brunch. i really liked the space, decent sized bar and a small beer garden to boot. i decided to go with the red rooster. it's essentially the typical breakfast turned up a notch and it was great. any place i can drink world class beers and have an amazing breakfast is a winner in my book.

heres hoping. looks promising every time. very nice looking place. beer selection is usually good. wish the food could be better! tried a few things, something is always a bit off. fried batter very fluffy, spice selection off in more than a few dishes, its just off. servers are nice. maybe they can shake something up with the food.

i could not be happier living two blocks from the best vegan sandwich i've ever had. the smoked coconut club will impress even your most carnivorous friends. they also have a lot of other delicious vegan foods and one of the most impressive, weekly-changing craft beer selections on tap. the staff are all super cool and down to earth.

pleasantly surprised!. we stopped in for lunch and i have to say the food was very good, and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. i had the heirloom tomato salad, followed by the mac & cheese primavera. it was homemade and delicious! my husband had the, port richmond platter which consisted of fresh kielbasa, saurkraut, pierogies, and potato pancakes. it was cooked perfectly.
i would also like to commend our server, seth. he was one of the most accomodating servers i have ever encountered and a downright pleasure to deal with!
