the poutine was delicious and portions were huge for only $10.
if you want good poutine, i recommend checking thisplaceout! even though its just a food stand area nearby the entertainment district, there aren't any seating available, but regardless the food is very enjoyable.
i haven't tried their hot dogs yet, so maybe that is what i will do when i go back.

lady there had pretty bad attitude. i hope she’s not the owner. not the bestplacefor poutine...very salty gravy and comes with little cheese curds.

good poutine - but it is a bit lacking in cheese. and at the prices asked, you'd be forgiven to expect theplaceto have some seating available (or serve the food in biodegradable containers).

mean poutine is located in the middle of downtown vancouver just off granville street on nelson.  greatplacein the neighborhood especially when i was craving crabs. poutine was great!  the price is slightly high but you will get what you expect it. menu board order counter and waiting/pick up area.  the staff was nice and friendly.   fried chicken @ $9 crispy fries, brown gravy, fresh cheese curds, buffalo chicken chunks fries were crispy; lots gravy and cheese.  the gravy was warm only.  wish the gravy could be hotter to eat with the cheese curds.   the bite size of fried chicken was tasty and flavorful.   great snacks during the day and late night; they open till 4am monday to saturday.    718 nelson st vancouver, bc v6z 1l2       http://www.meanpoutine.ca/

i was meeting a colleague for lunch and we wanted to try something different. from our individual sources, we heard about a take-away poutineplacethat was not too far from the office.

omfg wow!. after working near thisplacefor years, i finally got there when it was open... seriously, they do not stick to their posted hours, not by a long shot.

it seems the wait was well worth it though, thisplaceis amazing! the poutine is nice and greasy, when paired with a hot dog, (also very well done) it tops the charts. ok, so you have eat your food standing on the street, but the mullet band soundtrack makes you hardly notice.

first of all thisplaceclaims 'best' poutine in town, based on my experience today i would have to disagree. thanks for the craptastic veggie pizza dog with raw onions, hardly any tomato 'pizza' sauce, and cold uncooked veggie dog, which you charged me $2 extra for. best fail in vancouver should be your slogan.

mouth watering good.. i tried thisplaceon new years by fluke... there was a huge crowd in front and i wanted to see what thisplacewas all about. the food was beyond belief amazing and i got to meet the owners, whose this huge guy and his dad. i ordered a chicken poutine and my friends ordered a bunch of their gourmet hot dogs. first off it was huge and smothered in toppings... every bite was just as good as the next. my friend ordered this hot dog with cream cheese on it called the zen dog.their pizza dog and mac n cheese dog are also out of this world good. all in all, we go here probably every weekend. the best part... he is always open!
