daal makhni was good, but used too much of tomatoe ketchup in butterpaneermasala

i ordered veg thali, the nan/roti whatever they gave had a foul smell and was stale looking,paneerpieces was so tiny and were like 3 tinypaneerpieces in total, the dal makhani was tasteless with stickyness, i hate the quality of the food, i live near that resturant so i thought giving it a try, you guys need to serve better quality food, when did kharvel nagar started having this kind of resturant? improve your food quality or dont sell thali if you cant handle it

master canteen is a new punjabi restaurant located beside lalchand jewellers on the master canteen square. the owner previously had a small kiosk serving excellent kebabs, fish fingers and bali prawns which had a nice fan following of their own.

now they have come up with a small 25 seater restaurant with interiors resembling a modern dhaba. beside this i loved the menu, it was limited, listed only crowd favorites and was well priced. talking to the owner i loved his passion in cooking with fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and limiting the use of refrigerator/microwave.

so my first order was malai chicken kebab (₹130 for 4pc). first bite after 2 years and the memories came back, it tasted the same. the chicken was soft, moist and the kebab was succulent. the malai wasn't overpoweringly sweet. dal makhni (₹150) was creamy, had lots of buttery and was well spiced.the best part aboutpaneertikka makhanwala (₹150) was the tikka was freshly baked and the gravy didn't disappoint. tandoor paratha (₹40) went very well with the dal.

overall, one of the best places in town to have kebabs and the main courses were good. well priced and recommended.

had the bestpaneertikka of bhubaneswar.. delicious and well cooked..just loved it
chicken banjara one of the finest..tasty and juicy...chicken malai kebab melted on mouth..cooked so well..deduction only for poor ambience.. but i won't mind going there, standing and eating some delicious mouthwatering kebabs for sure.
