tastyjapanesefood; reasonable price. this is a small restaurant but one can tell as soon as you walk in that the staff takes a lot of pride in making ti feel and smell like you are in ajapaneserestuarant in japan. we ordered the nabeyaki udon and salmon lunchbox. savory shitake mushroom soup in the udon...first time for us. delightful and flavorful. the lunchbox is a beautiful presentation and just enough for me. not a big lunch if you are looking for something substantial, but enough to fill me up. the salad that came with it was just a few pieces of iceburg lettuce w/ a very tasty dressing. i would have preferred some carrot shavings or peas, or something to make the presenation better and less cheap looking. this is one of the few restaurants that serves ginger icecream!!!!! if you've never had ginger icecream, please try it. you cannot find this in stores (as far as i know). it is rich a creamy with a subtle taste of ginger (has ginger bits in it) that grows as you eat it. it's wonderful.
the staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant very clean.
