mash'd frisco

went to mash'd yesterday and had the best, most delicious food i've had in years...yes, years.  ordered the guacamole for our table of 4, and it was gone in a minute!  the best, most different guac i've ever eaten.  then, bc i love avocados, i ordered the avocado bombsaladand again, it was one of the most delicious dishes i've ever eaten.  i definitely will go back...soon!!!!!

i enjoyed this place more than i probably should have.  the try-hard attitude, mom-cocktails, and bacon guacamole are instant turn offs but i'd be lying if i didn't tell you that the guac was pretty good and balanced and that my moscow mule wasn't delicious.  while my vietnamese associate frowned upon seeing the "pho" and the asian inspired salad, he said both were surprisingly good.  i enjoyed the cold noodlesaladmyself.

excellent salads & service!!. the first time i visited mash'd i was not impressed. however, tonight was a definite winner. my daughter is visiting from california and she wanted something light. i thought of some of the salads i had heard about that mash'd serves. we started out with the legit guacamole for an appetizer. it came with chips. it was delicious. my only complaint is that i wish it had been served with more chips. my daughter ordered a k & qsaladwhich had kale and quinoa. it also had feta, pistachios and a mint vinagrette dressing. very good salad. i chose a cheeseburger for my entree with half an avocado bomb. both were very tasty. we chose to sit on their lovely patio and our waiter brought us a heater when we got a little chilly. our waiter, casey, gave us excellent service. i highly recommend this restaurant.
