marlo's taco shack

i am so glad they have reopened as marlo's little house of tacos!! they have the best cheese dip, but i love everything they have!! a six pack of tacos for $4.99, yes please. they're loaded beef nachos are as equally awesome...and don't forget to ask for their hot salsa!

outstanding. six tacos for five bucks. seriously? you can't even get a deal like that at taco bell, the cheapest of the cheap. everything tastes great and has an earnest quality to it. the fresh salsa is superb. the owner is very friendly. doesn't look like much on the outside, but considering the modest prices and excellent quality of the food, there's just no place nearby i'd rather go to for mexican food.

slow. the service is so very slow at night.

i love this place. good taco's by the dozen if you please. ms marlo is always very happy to see me and treats me like family. after a long stay in va memphis i stop by the drive-thru on my way home...tacos, cheese dip and chips to go. good stuff...thanks ms marlo. see ya soon i hope. ---tc

really good and quick, enjoyed it for my first visit!  enchilada was perfect, and guacamole  was great and so unusual to be able to get it on a dish for the price.  thanks marlo and mary!

i've been  eating their meat & cheese enchiladas for at least ten years; the only reason i gave them a "5" was because i couldn't figure out how to give them a "6"!

as is the case with almost any food-service place, the quality, quantity, and "....uh...do you prepare orders to go??? you do!  great!!" will depend at least in part on how directly involved the owner is; to the extent that it's reasonable i always call in my order ahead--so it's zip through their drive-through and straight on home--which gives me a chance to know whether "miz marlo" is there.

years ago i quit smoking; i truly believe that it would be harder to quit--for a long period of time--miz marlo's taco shack meat & cheese enchiladas than break the hold that nicotine had on me,

i have one criticism--about this web page: based on their chart, it would be pretty reasonable to assume that this gastronomical oasis is open six days a week, and this includes being open late on saturday nights. but what is "late"? on a saturday night?  8:00?  10:00?  i know of several eateries that stay open 'til "dark-thirty".

i called saturday the 9th at 10:06; after several unanswered rings i'm left with deciding (1) they close at ten and missed out on a $30.00 order; or (2) they stay open on saturdays 'til midnight and my stomach will grumble and growl at me until sometime monday.

it's gonna be a  l-o-n-g  w-e-e-k-e-n-d

taco shack is closed, went by there 1-9-16 and all signs were down. hadn't heard anything about impending closing, anybody know why or if relocating?

this place sucks. i would write a review of the food but i couldn't even order food. i got there at 120pm where i was greeted and told to sit where ever which i did then i used the restroom... sitting back down only to be told they were closing which is wierd as the sign on the door said they are open from 1130-930

cheese dip: dip your chip all over arkansas...in arkansas, a single item of food connects all corners of the state. created by a man named blackie donnelly, originally credited to his restaurant mexico chiquito, cheese dip has become a southern staple... where can you find the best cheese dips in arkansas? here's a starter for you... which by no means can completely cover every great restaurant to serve the dish...marlo's taco shack. ridiculously cheap and good yellow cheese dip.

why?. there is no reason to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru for there unseasoned taco meat,cheese wiz dip and very garlicky( you had better live eating raw garlic) salsa.
people only went there for the cool building, and now you can't go in the old place anymore.

i miss casa taco:(

loved it all my life.. i've been eating at taco shack since i was a child and i probably won't stop. cheap yet soooo delicious. i recommend the cheese dip and taco salad.

hello. friendly people, good service, tiny tables, claustrophobic space and the food. the food was not memorable, i've had better mexican in canada, it tastes like hamburger cooked in a pan with no seasoning. didn't try the salsa, looked like pace.

great food!. awesome food, delicious homemade salsa. yummy!

this is the best place to eat. enchiladas, sancho supreme , cheese chip , rice , and beans are all fantastic . i love this damn place.
