mariano’s mexican cuisine

everything about this place is great, it would have a 5 star rating if they had a out door patio. food is superb and by far the bestmexicanfood i've had in the arlington area....and that's coming from a guy who lived a stones throw from the border.

great food. they can have a problem with cleanliness on occasion but the food is always fantastic.

perfect. great service, bestmexicanfood i have had in a while.

from minnesota, here for a twins-rangers game. stopped here for lunch and can say this is the bestmexicanfood i've ever eaten. i had the chicken verde, my wife had the acapulco enchiladas.

orgasmic food. can i say that? omg, this is the bestmexicanfood i have ever eaten in my entire life and i eat it all the time. the chips were light and crispy. their hot sauce was flavorable and delicious. they also bring you a different sauce (forget what they called it) and i have never tasted anything quite like it. it was wonderful. prices are a bit higher than what you normally find at mostmexicanrestaurants, but the food was perfect and the portions were very large so i didn't mind paying the little extra. daughter and i had beef fajitas for two and i think it was $30. they give you plenty of tortillas and more if you want them. service was excellent. waiter was perfect. even the beans and rice were delicious. my only problem was my stomach wasn't big enough.
there was an annoying guy eating there who was conducting business on his cell phone very loudly while he ate. this is not the restaurant's fault, but they should have told him to take it outside. jerk.

perfect for rangers games. mariano's has become our go-to place before texas rangers games. it's location is perfect just east of the ballpark. and the food is quite good. there are bettermexicanrestaurants in dfw, but mariano's is no slouch and hold their own quite well against stiff competition. their specialties are more geared towardmexicaninterior cooking rather than tex-mex. they have the latter, but mainly to satisfy those who only want tacos y enchiladas. so i stick to what they do best: elaborately prepared chicken, shrimp, steak, etc... they have good chips and salsa, and they have a hotter one if you ask (though it's not terribly spicy - unfortunately). according to the "museum" at the front of the restaurant, mariano's invented the frozen margarita machine. hey, you gotta give props for that!

marianos if you want greatmexicanfood. mariano’s is the bestmexicanfood i have had since moving to dallas 13 years ago. i moved from kc and grew up on authenticmexicanfood, not tex mex. so when i discovered mariano’s i was in hog heaven the prices are right, the food plentiful, service always with a smile. when i have guests from kc i take them here and they are pleasantly surprised how like home the food is and then i take them to places like abuelos or some of the other chains and they want to go back to mariano’s each time they visit.

try the roasted salsa i could drink it!!!!!

salsa was delish. chips a bit on the chewy side. but the main dishes were amazing!!! i think they were missing a waitress but they did the best they could to help us out as fast as thy could. prices were pretty good for amexicanrestaurant.

came from wisconsin and i'm a bigmexicanfan and this place didn't disappoint! great environment, service and food was awesome from the two things we had! margaritas are a must here great variety

my sister and i ate at mariano's after seeing the reviews here, an we were so happy we did. the place is everything amexicanrestaurant should be, from the decor, to the margaritas and especially the food! everything is freshly prepared so it was not the quickest place, but that adds to the charm and gives you time to enjoy the awesome chips and salsa and the margaritas. my sis had a chicken dish and she said it was the best chicken she has ever had, i had the drunken shrimp and the were exceptional! we had the apple pie for dessert and wow! we also had the pappa's margaritas. do not miss this place, unless you like big chain restaurant, bland food and cattle call in an out in 20 minute places. if those are your cup of tea the mariano's is not for you but if you want amazing food made fresh then you will love this place!!!!

i've been looking for about 3 months for a greatmexicanrestaurant. i immediately liked their chips and salsa and their enchiladas were great! would definitely come here again! great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, good price.

excellentmexicanfood. this will be one of my favorite fwmexicanrestaurants! the ambiance is great, very cozy yet almost elegant. the service is terrific! every staff member is friendly, attentive and knowledgable about all the menu items. and the food, ah, the food! the sauces are wonderful, the 2 brought to the table with chips were superb - one mild and the hotter one has a delicious smokey flavor. the guacomole very fresh and chunky like i like it. the dishes we ordered included unexpected roasted fresh vegetables: squash, peppers, onions, that kicked the whole meal up a notch. wonderfully seasoned, beautifully presented. i love this place!

numero uno!!!!!. matt and i eat a lot ofmexicanfood and this is our #1 favorite. try the "papa's" margarita- it's the best i've ever had! i especially love the cilantro snapper and the camarones borrachos (drunken shrimp). matt can't resist the poblano al carbon. i don't understand why this retaurant never has a wait. people should be lined up around the block!

greatest beef fajitas. imo, bestmexicanin arlington. the drinks are powerful, the chips and salsa are fresh, and the beef fajitas are the best i've found. love the old-school interior; the bar area looks like something out of a tarantino flick. the service is thoughtful and pleasant. friends of mine swear by the brisket tacos and the seafood dishes. have also been impressed by takeout here; full containers of quac and sour cream and all the sides. yum.
