best stuffed jalapenos. mariano's has always been great....especially the fried stuffed jalapenos....these should be on your "bucket list" because because they truly are the best....writing about 'em makes me want to go now....

wow, wow, wow! the food here is delicious! i had the saltillo platter and the meat in my taco was nice and hot (temperature) with excellent flavor and no grease! my enchiladas had the best tasting chili con carne, again, not greasy. i highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

seriously save room for the pecan pie! amazing melty, buttery wonderfulness! easily big enough for 3 people. dinner was very good too. big portions, great and fast service, cozy atmosphere without feeling crowded.

my sister and i ate at mariano's after seeing the reviews here, an we were so happy we did. the place is everything a mexican restaurant should be, from the decor, to the margaritas and especially the food! everything is freshly prepared so it was not the quickest place, but that adds to the charm and gives you time to enjoy the awesome chips and salsa and the margaritas. my sis had a chicken dish and she said it was the best chicken she has ever had, i had the drunken shrimp and the were exceptional! we had the apple pie for dessert and wow! we also had the pappa's margaritas. do not miss this place, unless you like big chain restaurant, bland food and cattle call in an out in 20 minute places. if those are your cup of tea the mariano's is not for you but if you want amazing food made fresh then you will love this place!!!!

wow. when people brag about the margaritas maybe it should be a bar. the food is terrible.

where do you start when you have been going to a place for over 25 years? i brought my wife here when we were dating, and some of the same faces have remained there ever since. for instance, victor martinez has been there as long as i can remember. we were happy that he was promoted to assistant manager at la hacienda ranch in colleyville, which is also part of the marino's family of restaurants. we are very proud of you victor, but we miss you.

last time we were in we had a laugh because we literally came here for 10 years and never ordered anything other than the nachos de fajitas and a pitcher of margaritas. there is just so much to love about them, the fresh chips, the tender marinated beef, peppers guacamole, sour cream, beans and cheese. and yea they know their way around a margarita. you may find this link interesting if you like the frozen variety. http://americanhistory.si.edu/news/pressrelease.cfm?key=29&newskey=289

like i said we have been coming here for 25 years so my son has been coming here all his life. and when i tell my teenage son that we are going to mariano's do you want to go? he never turns me down.

of course they have all the classics you might expect, but when we feel like something outside the box. the wife and i order one of each of these camerones carlos's 'n charlies and camerones borrachos (drunken shrimp) then split the orders because we cant decide which we like better. but both of these shrimp dishes are just decadent personified. the carafe of sangria usually helps with the guilt once we have placed our order. altough we have cheated, we have never placed that order and then ordered the hot apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and brandy butter sauce for desert; you couldn't handle that much good stuff all at one sitting.

we always leave happy. but don't leave without getting a frequent diner card punched first, because you will be back. and after you get your card filled up you get a free dinner and that means more shrimp!

to the staff at mariano's we appreciate you all, victor i asked marina if you trained her, she said yes. but i already knew the answer.

i've been looking for about 3 months for a great mexican restaurant. i immediately liked their chips and salsa and their enchiladas were great! would definitely come here again! great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff, good price.

bland tex-mex like you can get almost anywhere else. perfect for seniors and those living not from around here. owned by the same folks that run the la hacienda local chain so i am not sure why this place does not get a quality upgrade in food quality.

love the parking lot improvements. the recently re-paved parking lot is usually nearly full at lunchtime but the service remains fast and friendly. besides still having the best tacos al carbon in the area, their puffed tacos are also winners. margaritas are a house specialty and the complimentary chips and salsa are second to none. still not an area i enjoy at night but it is improving.

excellent mexican food. this will be one of my favorite fw mexican restaurants! the ambiance is great, very cozy yet almost elegant. the service is terrific! every staff member is friendly, attentive and knowledgable about all the menu items. and the food, ah, the food! the sauces are wonderful, the 2 brought to the table with chips were superb - one mild and the hotter one has a delicious smokey flavor. the guacomole very fresh and chunky like i like it. the dishes we ordered included unexpected roasted fresh vegetables: squash, peppers, onions, that kicked the whole meal up a notch. wonderfully seasoned, beautifully presented. i love this place!

great food!. ok, place is a bit of a dive, but cozy and they know what they are doing. staff is extremely friendly...especially to regulars.
you can smell the fajitas when you walk up to the building and i recommend that you go ahead and get them.
ask for anita...she will treat you right!

numero uno!!!!!. matt and i eat a lot of mexican food and this is our #1 favorite. try the "papa's" margarita- it's the best i've ever had! i especially love the cilantro snapper and the camarones borrachos (drunken shrimp). matt can't resist the poblano al carbon. i don't understand why this retaurant never has a wait. people should be lined up around the block!

great mexican food! i go there for the margaritas and flautitas, but all the food is good.
