during my latest visit i ventured onto the front of the menu, this time ordering the lobster pie. no wonder it's marblehead's number one seller! just fantastic. next time i plan on trying the lobster jumbalaya. stay tuned...

the lobster bisque is da bomb! so many choices on the menu so little time. i am hooked on the lobster pasta. so much sweet crustacean in the dish it is second to none. i try to get my fix once a month. still waiting on my free dinner for 2 maybe i'll win next month.

delicious.. the sea food is delicious. i've only had a table in the bar area. a little noisy, a t.v. on the wall but pleasant. great place to go with out of towners. it's consistently good.

sign up for their rewards program! it is really cool and provides you with really great savings! i just used my first anniversary reward which allowed me to eat snow crab legs for a little over seven dollars ^.^ you can not beat that for a pound of legs, it was delicious!

i truly respect the range of prices offered and respectively the dishes represented in each price range. there really is an option for everyone on this menu.

in the two visits i have made thus far, i have gone the fine dining route. filet topped with crab and maine lobster tail w/ caeser and asparagus was trip number one. this last trip was alaskan cod blackened with coleslaw. both were succulent and mouth watering. the caeser is not the best i have had, but it does not disappoint.

the bar has a great assortment of drinks, cocktails are delish, wine is well represented as is the on tap and in the bottle beer choices.

this next visit with my march sealed card that has some sort of free prize in it (what a fun and quirky idea? no really, i kind of dig it) will be to try out the cheaper side of the menu with the fried clam strips.

as leery as you may be to add yet another rewards card to your collection, the coupons and offers at marblehead are definitely worth it.

ambiance. my wife and i took our 8 month old. we felt very warm and accepted by all in the dining room. our waitress had us a sweet potato out to our table as soon as our drinks were done so we could keep her occupied. wow, talking about service. it is also very casual with a comfortable level of busy noise which suited our vocal child well.

highly recommend that you visit this quaintly decorated and very bustling and on the move eatery. you will be hooked like my wife and i are.

great place. this is one of our favorite places for lunch or dinner. the food is excellent. the staff is always friendly. the atmosphere is relaxed and quiet which enables us to carry on a conversation while we dine. the captain's club rewards are a great incentive and a worthwhile plus.

one of our favorite places. the marblehead chowder house is one of our favorite restaurants. we have been regular customers for years now. the food is excellent and the service is always great. we also like the special rewards and promotions that are offered. our many visits over a number of years has proven to us that the restaurant is consistent in providing good food and service at a reasonable price.

our favorite seafood restaurant. we go to the marblehead on a regular basis. we like the fresh fish, crab cakes and crab legs best among many other items we have also ordered. the captain's club offers are also a great reward to customers. the friendly service is also a plus because we have found it to be very consistent.

best seafood in the valley. don't waste your time with red lobster! better quality seafood and wait staff is waiting for you at marblehead chowder house! for the same price i get way more food and much better quality food. full chunks of real crab, whole lobsters, tuna, salmon, haddock, everything! and you get coupons and rewards every visit! i love this place, it makes you feel like you are eating at a fancy seafood restaurant at the beach!

delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. we love coming here and try to save it for special occasions. the atmosphere is very welcoming and is fit for a date night or just a dinner away from home. the food is exceptional and is always very fresh. the personnel are always very friendly and happy to help you with anything. great place.

great seafood. we visit about once per month. always excellent food and prices. we try to go on off peak days but it always is crowded. this never a bad thing. crowded equals good.

great place to eat. hubby & i eat here often. our absolute favorite place to eat. staff is trained very well and pleasant. service is timely. food is excellent. seafood menu is top notch and prepared excellently. steaks available as well. get the real key lime pie here. sign up for the "captain's club" to earn free meals & discounts. they even have games in the lobby throughout the year. you could win a free lobster dinner... i did!

great food and family friendly. we recently took all three of our sons to the marblehead for dinner. i was apprehensive but the staff was great with them. our dinners were wonderful of course. the kids meals were priced amazingly well compared to other places on the area. the boys enjoyed their meals and ice cream and thought the treasure box at the end was the best.

awesome. this was our second trip to marblehead. the food was wonderful. we were there on valentines day. service was excellent, food and drinks were wonderful. seafood was very fresh, everything had a great flavor.

make a reservation. wonderful food and always changing menu. bartenders are great!

never a disappointment. whether we go as a couple or with a large group the food and service is always top notch. the menu offers a nice balance beyond the expected seafood (the prime rib is wonderful!) but if you are a seafood fan then you are in the right place. lobster and crab specials will keep you returning for more and the promotions make the experience fun and affordable. don't forget to end your meal with some salt water taffy!

always a favorite. we had our christmas party here and were absolutely delighted with the service and the food. our servers could not have been more attentive or cheerful. all our requests were met quickly. i had a tremendous piece of prime rib--it was the first non-seafood entree i've ever ordered here and it was not only delicious but also "doggie bag" necessary. the marblehead continues to be my favorite restaurant and i am proud to be a captain's club member--great deals and promotions!

great lunch. the improved lunch menu has been well received with more appealing choices. soup, quiche, and wrap of the day choices are always unique. i would recommend sitting in the bar area if you are looking for quick service.
