@bell.net. i just enjoyed a nice lunch at the mandarin, but i think that i forgot my cane at the table. we were 4 persons, and sat in the room behind the buffet, please call me at 705 436-4382 if you find it. it is grey and has my address label stuck on it. i would very much appreciate getting it back, as i depend on it for support.

this location is now our no.1 choice over newmarket mandarin, personal choice with selection of stores nearby to walk off a glorious meal.buffet selections for everyone. food is always refreshed or brought out fresh. theme events always ensure different selections. managing partner carolyn xavier is welcoming and cheerful.

in the buffet are multiple selections of chicken, beef, pork, shrimp and fishes. fruits and salads to please most and other salads as well including bean, chickpea to name two.

on victoria day, they decided to close earlier than advertised hours, and did not let us in. it took me 3 attempts to get a call back from the head office customer service, who told me sorry... come again another time... and don't forget to call to check availability. calling in advance may be a good idea. coming back to this place - doubtful.

what a great place to go for a birthday party. made sure to make sure it was a memorable evening. wonderful selection of asian hot and cold foods, great amount of sushi. for those with picky children there is a good amount of american food. the desert section is a great spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. $25 for all you can eat dinner, make sure you don't eat lunch so you really don't miss out!!

first visit. as a retired chef of over 1/2 a century. i had occasion to go to the mandarin in barrie ontario. words fail me ! ! ! this establishment was absolutely marvellous.
the buffet. well presented, 4 soups countless hot selections of seafood meats and vegetables. rice both steamed and fried, noodles, far to many items to list here.
the experience of this restaurant was overwhelming. the staff were very helpful, extremely polite and smiling continually. for seniors the prices are a bargain as discounted prices for this buffett are daily upon presentation of id.
as i started this review i end with this description which i do not give lightly. the experience of the mandarin was out of this world, delightful, delicious and just plain terrific. well done a definite return is on my agenda next time i visit southern ontario.

great experience. rolled in with a group of 17 without notice. they got us all seated and eated in now time. good range of food at standard buffe quality, with great service.

usually the food is good, but today it was great! great food, amazing service, and i love the music, instrumental renditions of my favorite songs!

the staff were very nice and obviously you can't expect the same staff to keep checking on you at a buffet but the staff here were pretty consistent and did a good job checking on everyone making sure we were all happy and the place was packed! but the staff were great and always had a smile and made sure as soon as we finished a drink to refill it or as soon as a plate was cleared they were right there to pick it up. much better than the mandarin buffet in toronto.

food is ok. they don't c.... food is ok.

they don't change table cloths! on a table with 2 cloths they will only change one cloth if they have to. gross!

good but not great. i have found mandarin to have pretty good food usually. just not this location it would seem. the food always seems over cooked and soggy. plus, i recently ordered take out with friends and the order was so horribly wrong that i don't think i will bother with the take out ever again.

gross. i have been to mandarin many times and my experiences have always been below average.

to expensive. i have to complain about the price of this place for what you pay its no deal. not to sure about the service that day either maybe our server was having a bad day but she sure spoiled the meal. i wont be going back thanks but no thanks i will find another chinese restaurant to spend my hard earned money at.

this location is one of the best ones i have been to and i will continue to go there even though i now live in trenton

the best buffet that i have ever been to. great selection and very friendly staff.
