mandarin bistro chinese & thai restaurant

if i don't stop myself, i will eat here multiple times a week. it is my favorite lunch and dinner spot in springdale. i highly recommend the dynamite chicken, pad kee mao, and tom kar. when you order thai hot, they add fresh chilies to the dish which makes for a great deal of intense heat but worth it if you love the taste of fresh chilies. i haven't had a bad experience here since i moved to springdale last summer.

outstanding mandarin chinese. tried mandarin bistro for the first time this evening. we had triple delight combination and combination fried rice. both were out of this world. the triple delight was the best that we have every had any were any place.
they also have thai tea a drink that must try. we will be back to try the thai food.

best chinese and thai in nwa!. fresh vegetables, fresh oil, fresh and tender meat, fresh positive attitudes, all with what must be the fastest, freshest chinese and thai food in northwest arkansas! thank you mandarin and your chef, and your choice in business model for quality then quantity. this is the food you want, the good stuff you've been looking for, the why can't everyone be this good. a single order, say glass noodle pad thai medium spicy with extra peanuts, can take up to three meals to eat, each time getting better and better, but- it ready in about ten minute! so call on the way, don't forget the eggroll, this food is delicious! [ i haven't had a bad dish yet, thai hot is too hot for me, and if or when you start delivering chow fan to game day college kids, watch out wildwings...wait i should start that... ]

surprisingly excellent. this chinese restaurant hide in a forgetful corner at a shopping center in tontitown, i really surprise that they have the excellent food and great choices of different asian entree. if u like spicy, u should try their jalepeno chicken or mongolian beef. both are equally great.

a good quality of foods with reasonable price. a great portion of food with reasonable price. i strongly recommended mongolian chicken and coconut curry chicken, that are the both entree you can not find anywhere in northwest arkansas.

we tried this restaurant because they got a 4.4 good rating. idk how that could possibly be. we(there was 3 of us)were the only ones in the restaurant at 5:30. and no one came in the entire time we were there. place was clean but the food was awful! hot and sour soup was the best thing i had at this restaurant but it was very spicy, and i like spicy food. our fresh spring rolls had a tiny bit of chicken and egg. never had egg in a fresh spring roll ever! when we saw they had egg in them and informed the owner that we couldn’t eat those bc my husband is allergic to eggs. she merely said ok and then walked away. the pepper steak had the most “chewy” beef i have ever tasted. plus there was maybe 6 small slices of beef and an abundance of peppers and onions. they should change the name to “onions and peppers with a few slices of beef”. we also had honey sesame chicken. the entire entree had maybe 12 chunks of chicken and the overall taste was just ok. the bill was over $37.00, we had 3 soups, fresh spring rolls, pepper steak and honey sesame chicken. seems like a high price for very little food that didn’t taste very good. will never make this mistake a second time.

not bad but could use some love.  all the food was greasy.  hot and sour soup had stale (what appeared to be) corn chips placed in the soup instead of on the side.  value was there, friendly service just don't know if i would ever return unless in the area and had a hankering for greasy chinese food.

this my family's favorite chinese restaurant. have eaten there enough that we are now on a first name basis. it's hard to say which dish is my favorite. but if i had to choose i'd say the peanut butter chicken. also try the cashew chicken, and the green curry.

been going here since high school and they never disappoint. always has yummy food no matter what you get! if debating on going, should definitely try it out.

hey it's not bad and the people are ok if you can understand them, but do not use the menus that are posted here on this site. i ordered a dish that listed on here for $6.99 and appetizer for $4.99. when i went to pick up the food and found out that my entrée was now $9.99 and the appetizer was $6.99. i have told them twice about this but they refused to take the menus down. make sure you call ahead and get current pricing

good food. family has tried several dishes they are all delicious. not sure where the other reviewers are eating but it's doesn't sound like mandarian bistro. yummy!!!!

i don't recommend this place to anyone looking for good or even decent asian food. i ordered the pho and it was so bland. the portions of bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and jalapeño were small and old. the lime that i got was old and dried up. the service was slow and bad. i will never return i this place!

person from northwest arkansas. i like this place and eat there pretty often. i like to get the lomein noodles instead of the fried rice, however they cannot ever make up their mind as to how much that substitution is. one day it's a dollar, next time it's two dollars and then a dollar more the next time. it's very irritating. i am willing to pay a dollar more but no more then that!

this place smells bad from the minute you enter! i think it smells like dirty chickens that go down the road to george's ! food was not very good. also the owner's kids were too loud on their ipads watching disney movies in the booth across from us. how unprofessional to have kids standing in a booth eating messy popsicles and being loud! not an enjoyable place. we will never go back. ever!

they ripped me off. jacked up the prices at the cash register over menu prices. manager just argued and wouldn't correct it. avoid this ripoff place!

very friendly service and appreciative feel. the food actually tastes real. i have ate at the previous restaurant the owners have had and they were great as well. the food is fresh and not shy about putting sauce on the meat. i give this place a thumbs up and will forever return when i want great service and food.
