mancy's steak house

always good. nothing beats a medium rare filet from mancy's. i travel the country and eat at steak houses all the time, mancy's is still in my top 5.

the person who compared them to longhorn should never review again.

great evening!!. everything was wonderful servers were attentive and efficient! all four of us were happy with our meal choices, mainly steaks and the banana fosters dessert was amazing!!!!

malallday6. best steaks anywhere!. you can tell they actually care about serving a high quality food made from scratch, you can tell the difference in flavor. chain restaurants tend to serve frozen thawed food we rather save up for the best*. are server was very attentive i don't remember her name but she had shorter dark hair very kind younger and friendly, she suggested my martini with pineapples that had been soaking it was strong but tasty!!. i had the king crab and my husband ordered the delmonico rib-eye and we split a side order of steamed asparagus yum! his steak was mouth watering and my crab was so juicy i hardly even touched my butter! not to mention the tasty martini i started with, dinner was totally worth the wait and the money! every time we come in there is always chefs specials a romantic environment always an enjoyable meal, excellent service. the entire staff is very friendly and good looking that seem to want to make the night fabulous! mancy's steakhouse has a elegance that just cannot be found many places now a days. we will be back with friends in a couple months. highly recommend anyone in town or just visiting to stop in to this hidden gem!*****

awesome experience!. was at mancys this past saturday. the food and service was amazing. steaks were mouth watering delicious!!! server was sarah k. she was absolutely adorable. made us feel very welcomed and not once felt rushed. great experience!!! will definitely return.

awful experience. the food was ok. it was nothing special for the price. the service was ok. we tipped the waitress $20. our bill was just under $100 so we gave her a little over 20%. we had used our debit card and saw that $168.00 and some change had been charged. $50 more that we had authorized. when i had called the restaurant the said they would look into it. they later called me back and said it was a mistake that the waitress had another $50 tip and adding $50 to our bill. they refunded the money but did nothing else. i do believe the waitress was purposely steeling and was hoping to not get caught and that the manger should have done more than just an apology. i will not go back to a restaurant that supports steeling.

over rated. poor service, rude servers, jerky manager. they best stay in tolefo.

the food is always great as is the service. i have never had a bad experience. their cocktails are amazing as well.

every item is delectable. we drive the 45-55 minutes from metro detroit to this unique steakhouse. service is "perfect" my wife says and i agree. the filet mignon is among the very finest and cooked exactly how you order it. atmosphere is great..an understated cool where one feels comfortable in nearly any outfit,though smart casual seems to be the norm. i have only written one other restaurant review in my life..mancy's inspired me to double that! trust me you will not be disappointed...rather delighted. prices are lower than any place serving food claiming to be as good as mancy's in toledo.

i know this is a staple of toledo and i love they are family owned, but longhorn has steaks at the same taste level for a lot cheaper. still a nice restaurant, but overpriced for what it is.

the 6 ft. tall wooden clown in the entryway and the toledo-salvaged antiques are a link to its past when gus mancy opened the ideal restaurant in 1921. the steaks are flavorful and fairly priced as you would expect, but bread baked from scratch, large succulent scallops and a phenominal chocolate cake are pleasant surprises. it's the steak place to go to in toledo and it lives up to its reputation...and then some.
