mamma mia trattoria

brought my daughter here for the first time for a lunch date and was welcomed like we were regulars! the service is outstanding and the food is great. my daughter loved the bread that was brought out once we were seated. it is a great restaurant when in need of good food and quick service.

a taste of sicily. had dinner here with my wife, son and his girlfriend 2 weeks ago...dinner was great..ample portions, great taste, good prices...a must see....didn't mention it before because don't want it to get too crowded..the linguine with olives and oil was comparable to the same dish i had in sicily a month prior...lenny is gracious and makes you feel at home..

food was good, and they handled our party of 13 people very well.

bravo! i travel and want delvery that taste like a real dinner! this place was amazing! if you dont like it, well then you dont eat well when your at home :) this place is the real deal!

decent meal. we got a giftcard for this establishment. (they have a few other carlucci's locations). i always wondered about this restaurant, but this was our first time going there. we sat down right away, but the service was a little slow. we are used to a server occasionally coming to the table to see if we were ready to order. we had to wait a long time for someone to take our order. it took a long time to get our meals and also to get refills or any additional menu items. the bread they brought out before our meal was my favorite part. we used the gift card and a coupon for b1g1 entree, but it only gave us $10 off because of the restrictions. only a few of the many entrees were actually $10. i had the shrimp scampi with linguini and it wasn't what i was expecting, but it was still good.

pasta is good. this is great place to relax after a long, noisy & hot day at sesame place. kid friendly with attentive staff. the white sauce on my chicken piccata was less salty...it had no capers. the great sauce and good pasta with a dash of parmesan helped (a little) rescue the dish. i prefer the chicken to be a bit crunchy, contrary to what they serve. however, i get easily satisfied with a perfectly cooked pasta.

mamma mia this was bad. mamma mia was a real "downer". three of us went to make the best of a busy day. my daughter ordered vodka rigatoni and we ordered two other dishes. after the salads, which were mediocre at best, the hot food arrived. my daughter's rigatoni came, with meat, and she is vegetarian. she told the waitress that she couldn't eat it - she doesn't eat meat. the waitress took a confrontational approach and went to get a menu to see if the selection did, indeed state prosciutto. as she read the menu to us, she agreed that it didn't have the meat stated on the menu. we said that we'd make do with the meals on the table (i had a vegetarian meal as i do not eat meat). as we finished our meal the waitress brought a "specially made" vodka rigatoni without meat. the chef had made it for her. but guess what? we had already eaten, had said that we would make do with what was hot and on the table, and our meal was finished. to our surprise we were charged for this "specially made" meal. i protested and the charge was taken off the bill. i did have to pay $3.95 for the miserably small and unexciting salad. when we left the restaurant the owner asked how things were. i was honest and said that it wasn't special. he was shocked that i was not pleased with getting the meatless meal taken off the bill and given the "specially prepared" rigatoni free. it was insulting. but he did not understand my reaction. it was not a pleasant experience and we won't be going back.
