great curry. ilovethe curry here. really recommend the lamb saag. great value for money.

this restaurant has been open in boondall since i was quiet young, ilovethe desserts and the butter chicken i will never go anywhere else but maharani’d for gulap jamun and butter chicken. the food is amazing.

i’ve been going to this restaurant for takeaway & dine-in meals since it opened (must be getting close to 20 years ago).lovethe owners & their cooking. favourite meal: chana masala.

been going to maharani for over 20 years. so yummy, such a nice family. this is what started myloveaffair with curry and the original is still the best.

get it india!!. maharani has been keeping us happy for years. the food is top notch... yes the restaurant is a little small, but the staff are always really nice and can get so busy, but never compromise their service. the word of mouth travels far for their butter chicken.. ilovethe beef rogan josh.. but everything ive tried has been delicious. i wouldloveto see them branch out into a bigger restaurant or franchise as they leave a lot of other places for dead. we moved to the south side but moved back to the northside, first thing we said was yesssss close to maharani!!
buffet is really good value as well.

what an awesome dinner. you know when u just keep eating cause it is so tasty and wholesome, and you enjoy every mouthful. this is the place to go. we were going to have take away as we moved to the area but we were lucky that a smorsgeboard was out due to a large booking. it was exceptionally good value $19.99, for 4 meat mains and 2 vegetarian, naan, rice and all the additional trimmings. this is really a place where u can't judge a book by its cover. owner has been there 15 yrs and they had 2 phones ringing at once for take away orders. can i say anymore.loveit

quite good...really. not the best indian place on the planet but it's like a comfy old shoe that you can always fall back on. consistently good nosh.lovethe saag and lamb madras.

this place is the best curries on the north side. it is consistently excellent quality. fast and friendly service. i have had take away and dined in, and both were a top quality experience. i would strongly recommend this restaurant. iloveit.

first time. yuck! sorry to say that. iloveindian food, it's the best and i've eaten it for the last 36 years of my life. the food here is soooo not authentic. it's just like a packet curry with tons of cream added. disgusting. i had a madrass which contained loads of cream, i mean, cream in a madrass? i wouldloveto have found a great indian, but this is definitely off my list.

tasty but.... ilovethe flavours but it leaves that really heavy kind sick feeling. lots of ghee and cream. try jothi palace for really delicious indian without the heavy fatty after feel.
