our craving for lebanese led usmagicchicken last night. the seating was regular like a street side place, though the place was crowded, staff was quick and we got a table within 5 minutes flat.
we ordered a regular shawarma and grilled chicken. the chicken was well cooked and the food was neither very oily nor very spicy.
shawarma, i will rate 7 on 10. the khaboos(bread that forms the roll) was a little hard could have been a better more fermented version and fresher.
grilled chicken would be a 8 on 10, it being a healthy version of the tandoori chicken that we get to have at roadside outlets. it is served with 3 different kind of sauces: mint, mayonnaise and an attempt at hummus (this one can be skipped)
the food was a little far from being authentic lebanese with the pickles missing(though a serving of carrot and green chillies which was nothing close to a pickle was served). all in all if one is not looking for authentic lebanese but food that tastes good and quick service, magicchicken is the place to be.
