banquet style. went here for a dinner meeting and other than my water and tea not being refilled, this was first class dining. they offered my friend gluten free pasta, and brought her strawberries for desert, the pork was divine, and the appetizers wonderful. the lasagna was good, but not the best i have had.

nice place. second level has a nice view.

for my grandmother jerry's 87th birthday my wife and i wanted to do something very special for her. i decided we would invite some family and a couple of her friends from bingo out to dinner at maggiano's. i called and made reservations with a really nice young lady and she assured us that we would be taken care of seeing as though we were going to have some senior citizens with us. we arrived at the restaurant and were seated very promptly. our drink orders followed shortly in a timely manner as we ordered our food. grandma was cold and i requested the air be turned up because i wanted everyone to be comfortable. a gentleman whom i am assuming was the manager named jody, came to our table and assured us that he would take care of everything and he really did. our food came out and it was piping hot and everything was the way we had ordered! i was very pleased with the promptness and the service as every member of the staff made us feel as though we were part of their family! i would personally recommend maggoano's to everyone it really is a class act!

best restaurant of all time. maggiano's was a spectacular dining experience. from the moment i walked in through the revolving doors, i felt like a queen. i was immediately welcomed by the incredibly professional host staff. it was a special occasion, and she seated my husband tom and i in a elegant booth with a chandelier as requested. the server asher was prompt with our drinks and very knowledgeable with the menu! he suggested a cabernet that accompanied our entrees perfectly. we even had a chance to meet one of the managers, jody. we assured him that our service was impeccable. after our meal, we retired to the bar for a night cap and the bartender mckinley charmed his way into a great tip! i would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

fantastic!. i dined at maggiano's san antonio just last week with my family. we were a party of 8 (6 adults and 2 small children). our table was ready when we arrived, on the patio as we had requested. our server neely was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to both the adults and the kids. we had never dined "family style" and were amazed at the amount of food we received over a seamless three coarse meal. the calamari, mozzarella marinara, rigatoni "d", fettuccine alfredo, beef medallions and chicken picata were fresh, hot and delicious. both managers and chef stopped by our table to introduce themselves and wish my husband and sister a happy birthday. jody, chandler, adam, susan and curtis are awesome. thank you so much maggiano's san antonio - we will be back!!

wonderful. i also read the review below about not getting his banquet room. i would like to comment and say i am sorry you are miserable sir, and you are the kind of person that restraunts and servers do not want around their business. maggianos is a great place to go for big parties, especially when they do family style, which by the way is the best offer i have ever seen at restaraunt for all the food and great options. the service is always over the top when i go, and i have never had a problem with that short redheaded manager, he has always been nice to me and made my night enjoyable. thank you maggianos for great food and service!

i read someone review about having a large party and upset that the banquet rooms were empty. i recently called maggianos to ask about a room for my rehearsal dinner. you actually have to book a room in advance, give a deposit and choose a menu... not just have a reservation and expect to get room just because it's empty. food is great by the way!

i went to maggianos in sa when it first opened and it was great. i recently returned and it was excellent. it's a great combination of delicious food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere! at first glance, the menu may appear pricey but items are meant to be shared or you can order half portions.

not for big parties. the management of maggiano's should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

this last saturday night we had a reservation for a private room for a send off party for my father. my father is being deployed overseas for the next two years and we were having a party to wish him well. when we arrived saturday night, we were told that we didn't have a private room, but instead a table in the middle of the busy restaurant. several members of our party tried to no avail to explain to the short, fat, redheaded manager that this was a special occasion and this wasn't acceptable. we were told time and time again that it was our fault and they couldn't do anything about it.

fast forward two hours into the night of waiting for our drink glasses to be refilled, several people in our party not getting the right order. i went to the bathroom and what should i see, but a empty banquet room with more than enough room to fit our 25 guests. i was livid! are you f@*king kidding me! the dinner ended with the one waiter they gave us asking each of us what we had to eat and drink so he could get our bills together.

honestly the food was decent, but the manager probably should spend less time eating and more time making his guests' dining experience better.

this was a nice restaurant for lunch today. all ala carte. $90 for 4 people.

we had dinner for 10 and were shocked by the slow service from the kitchen. with a $400 bill, it was unacceptable to wait 2 hours for the meals to come out. in this economy, service should be exceptional to build customer loyalty and retention. the food was good, but next time we want italian, we will spend our money at a locally owned and managed restaurant.

hype. overpriced food, glorified carinos, olive garden, macaroni grill whatever you want to compare it to. they try to make up for the lack of taste with enormous portions. beautiful atmosphere though.

i think this place is good. food could be a little more expensive. i always like to get the creme brulle

best run restaurant in scottsdale. maggiano's is one of the best run restaurants in scottsdale. everybody is professional - and i love the take-out with the side entrance and how they let you park at the curb to wait for your order. they're friendly, the food is consistently excellent and it's a fun place to go. what more to ask? they also do special events very well. under the blue spire designed by frank lloyd wright - can't miss it, and you shouldn't miss it.

pricey... but well worth it. you owe it to yourself to try this restaurant out!! the service was great and the food each time has been excellent. the beef medallions, portabella mushrooms, garlic mashed potatoes was to die for and the mushroom ravioli al forno was delicious. the lobster ravioli was a little bland, but it did have fresh large chunks of lobster in it in a world where everyone else uses "lobster mush".
