i ate here for the first time recently, as i had read great things about it. it's located in a small, hole in the wall just off broad street. i went in the mid afternoon to avoid the crowd, but there was still a small wait for a table.
as i waited, i eyed up everyone else's food and it looked awesome! i ended up ordering the crab cake sandwich. it took a little long to come out, but there was a rush of orders just before mine.
i will have to say, i was disappointed... and it was not the best like the menu stated. it was a thin patty, with tons of breading. it doesn't appear to be the same crab cake that's on the benedict and i doubt it's the same that's in the entree.
anyways, everyone else's food looking great, and i can't wait to try lunch again and order something else... i recommend staying away from the crab cake sandwich.
the one other thing id like to mention, is the waitress made it seem like we were bothering her by eating there- no smiles, not very friendly, and even an eye roll when we asked her recommendation. maybe she had been crushed earlier in the day, or it was an off day, so i'll hold my judgement.
i definitely will be back!
