ok/dreadful carry-out. the food is ok, mostly tasteless tummy filler food. i agree with the below reviewer, once your food arrives you'll never see your server again.
do not order carry-out from luna grill. they have no specific carry-out products and your food will be all over the inside of the bag. i've complained and they always say they are going to get better carry-out dishware. hasn't happened yet.

good location. i went to luna grill recently while i was staying at the rouge. the prices were ok, not cheap but not nearly as high as the hotel, and it was open fairly early. the servers were very nice, but once they brought out my food they disappeared. my eggs benedict was good, but the breakfast potatoes were disgusting. the flavors were good but they were very mushy. shortly after my food was delivered, i finished my coffee. i put more half and half in the bottom and placed it to the side of my table, but it was never refilled, even though there were more servers than customers in the restaurant. for that reason i did not go back.

when i think of diner food, i picture greasy hamburgers, soggy french fries, and questionable chili followed by a nasty case of indigestion. fortunately for me (and my dining companion), luna grill & diner in dupont circle

hidden treasure!. my husband and i stumbled upon this place during an impromptu getaway to d.c. after driving from philly and getting in late on a friday night, we just wanted a place to chill out and get some simple, but tasty food. even at 9:30 the place was packed & lively! there was nothing pretentious or trendy about it. we started off with homemade sweet potato fries...delicious! the reuben sandwich & caesar salad were also delightful! flying dog amber ale was featured that night and our server was more than willing to fill us in on all the details about the brewery!
