i have to admit from the outside this place seems like nothing special but inside it's a whole new (huge) place!

the staff are very engaging and helpful and service is excellent. i found the atmosphere great considering it was during football season so terrific banter.

the choice of food is great too and very reasonable. our food arrived very quickly and was very satisfying.

a fine spot in the nation's capital whether you want a few drinks or a bite to eat along with good company

gone downhill. this once reliable neighborhood bar has gone way downhill lately. nasty waitresses and disinterested management will soon sink this place. this establishment allows its waitstaff to drink in the bar after hours, with one particularly notorious waitress getting drunk, insulting customers, and initiating altercations. the managers seem afraid or unwilling to do anything about her and her friends. customers used to overlook to dank atmosphere and so-so food because it had friendly service and reasonably priced drinks. now lucky bar is about to sink into the graveyard of defunct dc bars and restaurants that allow their staff to run them out of business.

invisible waiter. i went there to watch a game with a bunch of people. i was there first and ordered. i received my drink quickly, but when everyone else arrived, we were ignored by the staff. i had planned to order food, but since nobody came, i never had the chance. we went elsewhere.

food's good, service is terrible. their wednesday happy hour burger is great and at a good price. the atmosphere is nice, but the service was vaguely aweful both times i went there. the guys next to us had great service but our table of 9 girls thought we'd never get our food and some never did get their 3rd beer.
