simply devine.
no booking policy. simply a "we will call you when there is room" service at the door.
on both occasions i have been told i was lucky, having only had to wait twenty and fourty five minutes for dinner. my friend and a former class mate of mine both claim to have had to wait in excess of an hour and a half. a wait which all three claim to be absolutely worth it.
on seated, the food and service are very quick. however, despite the speedy prep of the food. this is no fast food restaurant.
my personal choice of the triple threat burger with freshly crushed avocado as a side is a meaty double burger with bacon and a generous helping of pulled pork on top. coated in marinade, the triple threat burger gives you an unbeatable depth of flavour, to such an extent that its in my top three burgers of all time. ferociously fighting for first place.

truly a cracking joint. i try and make time for it every time i go up to manchester, and so should you.

visited on a friday evening during a weekend stay in manchester. we’ve been a couple of times before and always loved it.

we’d booked a table and on arrival were seated quickly and got our drinks orders in.

we then ordered a chicken burrito and the famous burrito, with a side of wonder fries to share. everything was great. the burritos are really really good, and the atmosphere in the bar/restaurant area was good.

nothing more to say really... it was all great. lagerita is recommended.

the burrito was nothing short of spectacular. i was sceptical, when i read the long list of ingredients, but the first bite made me a believer. the pork was tender, the sauce savoury and one of the ingredients had an amazing crispy texture.

customers pay for the environment, not the food. the restaurant itself is unique and the presentation is fun. however, the service is lackluster, my food was flavourless, and my £7 cocktail was a shot with some ice in it. i've been twice now, hoping it would be better the second time. it was not.

as you have probably noticed, i have started going out to the northern quarter a lot more. there used to be a time when the northern quarter was a bit too trendy for me. this has however changed recently, with a lot of northern quarter restaurants becoming manchester landmarks. i am absolutely chuffed as it opens up the area to a new set of people who usually would confine themselves to areas like deansgate and spinningfields (read: me). and all this is down to a few northern quarter restaurants like solita and almost famous which have become landmarks no longer restricted by its location. yes, almost famous has moved shop and is now based in the more upmarket deansgate but it’s still a northern quarter baby at heart and one look at the almost famous operated  luck lust liquor and burn is all the proof you need. i was out shopping for shoes this weekend and after trying on what felt like a million pairs of shoes (that i thought looked exactly the same) on the instance of the shop assis

this place is usually good but the tacos were cold with a teaspoon of meat in them and more cheese than anything else. one was stale and hard. the cheese burger fries were cold but still good, thank goodness i'd ordered fries otherwise i would have left hungry as didn't eat the stale taco. the beer was good think i had a brooklyn.

this is a late review as i had visited this place last year (2017) when i was in the uk. this is a typical english pub setting with a youthful vibe and music. the place is packed on weekends as are all the other pubs & bars around it. good options for beers. the guy behind the bar can suggest some beers if you are confused. one can spend some quality time here with friends/group.

an amazing place for all burger lovers. they have some amazing burgers which taste so well and wil fulfill all your cravings for good food. give this place a try.

if u have this then you might not need anything else thats the big loaded burrito. also tried there boneless chicken blasts with butter which also had goodness of flavour insideit. so when in manchester will be here aswell.

popped in here following on from online reviews. we were in manchester for a weekend and fancied some mexican food. arrived at 5pm and enjoyed some cocktails at happy hour before heading upstairs for meal. ordered lettuce cups for starter super tasty then the burritos and chips which were amazing. yes had to pop downstairs for the happy hour promotions but no hardship. glad we came here for first meal in manchester.

a small cosy place with the best burritos in the whole world. also must try chargrilled dragon wings. would highly recommend it to everyone visiting or in manchester !

spent 6 weeks travelling through europe, and easily the best meal i had hands down. burritos were out of this world! i would be here all the time if i lived in manchester

what a cool place to find in manchester.

i used zomato to spot this restaurant and nevertheless it was still a surprise.
a busy place with a different environement, lots of young, beautiful and loud people.

great food, specially the cowboy steak. 

if i ever get back to the city i'll get back there for sure!

expensive, over seasoned, mediocre, ok service.

went there today for dinner with a friend. our chips were over fried and as soon as you put your fork into it they cracked.

all the individual food elements were ok but they were all so over seasoned that there was nothing to balance out the flavour. these guys need to stop copying everything they see on man vs food and make something proper.
