fantastic;  food and service are excellent.  if they make an error or you are not satisfied with your order......they will fix it immediately!  hot and sour soup......they best in charlotte.  we have tried many, many other chinese restaurants and keep on coming back to lotus for the last 15 years!

this a fairly good take out place. the food has always been consistent. it is not exceptional but never bad. i would recommend them. they do the standard dishes well.

great food and customer service!. then food is always fresh and delicious! they have great customer service, everyone is friendly. delivery is always on time and the food is still hot. my favorite is the crispy scallion chicken!

i have been ordering take out from here for over a year and still love it. fried rice is really good and fresh and the spring rolls are my favorite! they always give you lots of sauces and prices are really reasonable. i took my mom in and now she loves the sweet and sour chicken. great place to get chinese take out!

not good anymore. we were regular customer here for delivery. one of the best n south charlotte. but in the last year they changed their rice from regular fried to oborio rice. not good. heard they had owner change. if thats true its sad. they had another location in east charlotte.

i like there food, they're not the best with customers but everything is authentic, and they are willing to work with you and fix any order that was messed up, i usually just go with the mess up because it's still delicious.

lotus cafe @michaelcacossa. first, you told us there was only one order that is wrong, after we told you we will deliver the right order to you then you told us the whole order were all wrong. we told you we will make you the whole new order, and you also ask for some credit, but you never mentioned we made a mistake when we repeated your order. plus we didn't get the orders back at all, the reason sometime we need the order back because we had to show the cashier to let them know we have to waste so much foods again and remind them to be more careful while they take order from the customer. second, the cashier who took your order is an america boy, english is his first language, i don't think he has any problem with that. we will not reuse the food after the orders go out the door or has been open because it's against the health department rules!!!

horrible; flunky's. i think they're under new ownership within the last year - and i can tell you it was better before. my experience was horrible. teenagers answering the phone; and don't understand the menu - let alone simple, clear english. the gal i spoke to was caucasian too. repeated myself and clarified the order 3 times on the phone. picked up, and didn't check it on the counter ( this is clearly my fault ) but who would believe that after 3 clarifications - they would get it wrong?

got home and sure enough they were not individual orders ( sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli, and roast pork fried rice) but combo's. real jackasses. called back and they said they would deliver the right food but here's the kicker: they told us we needed to return the food that they made a mistake on! we told them to pound salt; that was inappropriate and certainly against any ncdoh policies - we'll never come back again and will tell everyone we can ( hence this review ).

be careful what you order from this place as it may very well come to you, back from a person like me - who is upset about his order because they want their mistake back ( my skin is just crawling thinking about it ) ..... and not everyone will be so kind and may add their own "special ingredient" to the food from this joint sent back from an irate customer that you're about to consume....
