awesome place to hangout with your loved ones

we had organsised an office gathering in the place. 35 people and it was on a package of 2500/- per head. the package had absolute vodka and kingfisher beer along with balantines and black label as whiskey. what was offered to us was ballantines whiskey and only after 30 minutes of argument was back label offered. however, some weird vodka and local beer was served. no amount of argument could change that. the logic given was that they did not have adequate stock of absolute and king fisher beer for the package but was serving on ala carte. after 2.5 hours and someone knowing the owner personally, could one get a bottle of absolute but no king fisher.
they did not have the decency to call up and inform us before hand about the fact that they would not serve what was agreed upon.
the snacks were good, but again on the main course, there was rationing. few of the dishes were brought out only after 70% people had eaten. the dessert was served only to the last 7 people on being demanded.

no one should plan any group event there.

i have had good experiences with other lord of drinks franchisees. chennai needs to get their act together and quickly.

i called to the number updated in zomato and made a booking , they blamed it saying it was a wrongnunber and provided me with a different number in their business card and treated me as if i was about to pay money from the pocket , it created a sense of degradation and i must really need an apology as they blamed it on me and zomato, then y do u update such wrong numbers when u have d rite ones. 😤😡 highly agitated

lovely venue and a great crowd. the food was mostly good. loved the starters especially. dj pramodh sorted the vibe of the place with some great music. however, the service was slow and the long island iced tea was watered down. on the whole, a great place to enjoy a fun night out.

crappy attitude.

not worth the visit. there host and bouncer create all kinds of stupid rules at the entrance to prevent people from visiting the place. they are extremely prejudiced in admitting patrons and behave as if we are being done a favor by them letting us in. this is not the kind of attitude that will make patrons feel welcome, nor is it an attitude that will keep me as a patron.

it was awesome until the server brushed all the table scraps over me- twice! like what the hell! i cut short my night to go home and shower.
the food was quite good, the drinks were nice (pro tip: avoid any drink with strawberry- they seem to feel the need to make you drink pure strawberry crush)
the loos are beautiful and clean. the got throne is quite cool!
if the server hadn’t doused me with crap, i would have given a 5 star rating. they can invest in better cleaning equipment for the amount they charge.

the ambience, staff, food, drinks. everything is top notch here. food wise, we ordered cajun prawns, fried calamari, fish pops, thai chilli chicken, nacho bowl and piri piri fries. the calamari was soooooooo good we ordered it twice. the chicken was so juicy and the fish melted in your mouth. the staff is what makes the experience 10x better. we were attended by maran and krishna and they deserve a big shout-out. so courteous and understanding, they were very attentive to our needs. coming to the ambience, which is absolutely amazing in this place, it has an outdoor seating and an indoor seating, the place is very well designed, every little detail has been taken care of to match the theme even the handles on washroom stall doors :p
all in all, the food deserves 5/5 and the staff 10/5!! :d

this is my go to place almost every saturday night.
first off the staff are amazing. this one guy called krishna who is the floor manager is so kind to us every time.
the food is killer too.
my favourites are :
1. potato wedges
2. classic chicken pepperoni pizza
3. mac & cheese
this is a place that everyone must visit.
of course you do need to book waaayyyy in advance as it is the most happening place in chennai

good food, courteous staff. who would have thought curd rice with chicken could be delicious!

quite disappointed and left without consuming or eating anything. asked for draught beer, they didn't have it. then i asked for long island ice tea. they didn't have tequila to make it. i made my way out.
