loafer's corner is one not to be missed while infortcochin. a quaint and charming cafe overlooking princessa street. the interiors were very minimalistic. good vibes and good music, too. 😋

i chose a window seat view whilst i was here. they had a good variety of food. :)
ordered cold coffee, and also a salad.
service was great. :)

great place to relax. great reading spot, too! 👍🏻

located in the middle of princess street, fortkochi, loafers corner cafe gave us an enjoyable cafe experience.

even before ascending the stairs to enter into the cafe, one can tell that the place exudes charm, thanks to the window-view seating overlooking the street, on the first floor. the interiors give off a cheerful and relaxed vibe, perfect for a warm evening in kochi. we made our way further inside, and occupied a table that overlooks the garden-seating area below.

we did not order anything to eat, although the menu did have a good variety of food - we asked for a cold coffee (ordered by my friend), and a cold-brew cardamom coffee. the latter was, for lack of a better word, yummy!

service-wise, we had no complains. the rates are reasonable.

if you are looking for a place to kick-back and relax after a long walk along thefortkochi beach, this is the place for you.

loafers is the best cafe restaurant infortkochi. its such a beautiful, pretty place with lovely hosts. coffee is really amazing and so is their sandwich.
the cafe opens early morning so is an ideal spot for breakfast.

you can spend hours in the cafe and they have arranged enough charging points for freelancers.
the cakes are a must try.

true to its name. this place is at the corner of princess street and you can really loaf around all day here. especially like the seats by the windows which give you a view of the lanes below. watch the people go by. ambience is really nice inside and food is also terrific. i particularly liked the sandwiches and omelettes. even the tea and ice cream brownies were good. i think this is my favourite cafe in allfortkochi.

one of the many quirky cafes in a quiet bylane offortkochi. the decor and ambience is rustic with window-side seating overlooking the lane and garden. we went there for breakfast and ordered crunchy meusli with fresh fruits and honey, fruit platter, toast with butter, cheesecake and green tea. everything was fresh and delicious. they have different flavors of cheesecake on different days but it was so soft and appealing. they also have a unique way of serving different components of tea separately and the customers have to mix them according to their taste which i liked the best. though a bit overpriced and vegeterian options are limited but definitely worth visiting.

the ambience is top notch and it has a quite zone perfect to read and chill. the ambience is really welcoming for a traveler or tourist infortkochi owing to its authentic infrastructure.
the roasted chicken garlic pasta was worth the wait and the flavors were well balanced and perfectly cooked. the pomegranate lemonade, and ice tea and hot chocolate was nothing but just average and not worth the price i would say.

recommendations: kit kat milkshake, chocolate brownie

after a hot, grueling day out and about atfortkochi, we wound up at loafer’s corner for dinner. the place was quirky and chic with some interesting wall art, my personal favorite being the elephant on the wall to the left of the stairs.

we found ourselves a seat by the window and waited to be attended to. we were brought the menus which was rather minimalist to the point where some might call it limited. after a while of deliberation we ordered a couple of cold coffees, kit kat milkshake, chocolate brownie, beef burger and the chicken cheese melt sandwich.

the kit kat milkshake was quite delicious and creamy. however, the cold coffee fell dramatically short. we were served a mason jar filled with espresso over ice with a side of sugar syrup and milk. in short, i paid rs. 100 to make my own coffee! while this may appeal to some people, i like my meals prepped and brought to me for such prices.

the brownie was a little dry but tasted fine all around. we finally tucked into our savory plates.

both the burger and sandwich was served with a side of tapioca chips, an homage to kerala, which was quite endearing. the beef burger was quite greasy which was appreciable, but the patty seemed a little burned on the outside. a bite into the sandwich, i noticed how dry the chicken was. i ended up salvaging it with some ketchup and mayonnaise.

while loafer’s had a few customers that evening, it wasn’t crowded enough to excuse the inattentive service. there were quite a few long waits where we had to try hard to get the servers attention. in comparison to many other spots infortkochi, loafer’s is easier on the pockets, which has clearly won some itself some favor.

food - 1/5
ambiance - 4/5
price - 4/5
service - 2/5

loafer's corner is at a corner and if you get a seat by the window grab it ! was here last week during my trip to kerala and boy loved this place. though didn't order anything apart from iced tea, the ambience made me stay a little longer. was sitting by the window with the cool breeze flowing in and was typing my blog posts. the cafe is interesting but the menu is quite standard. one thing i observed that all the cafes infortkochi have a similar menu. overall a good place to hangout and spend time. if you are with your spouse and want to spend some we time, head to their ground floor area behind the cafe 😉

would highly recommend this place to anyone visitingfortkochi. this was my first visit to kochi and this place did not disappoint me :)
we got in here after seeing the beautiful windows from the outside. the interiors we're equally good. this is a small cafe. there is not much variety in the menu but the food they serve is amazing quality and quantity vice.
we tried the creamy garlic spaghetti, fruit and herb lemonade and pomegranate lemonade. all three equally good. :)
