rated one of the best steak restaurants in s.a and i now know why!
rib eye with gorgonzola sauce, fresh crispy vegetables, mouth watering 500g fillet on the bone, camembert cheese starter leaves your taste buds singing and dancing in complete satisfaction.
the service was impeccable, our waiter was very polite.
the only disappointing thing about little havana was that it was very colonial and the only south american thing about therestaurantwas the music, i would have liked more south american which could still be presented well.
the drinks were also half our bill..

most unprofesional service from this type of restaurant!!!lady answers the phone and said we dont cater for take aways.firstrestauranti know of with no take away option.wont see us again!!!

beautifulrestaurantand beautiful presentation of food. however, starters and mains lacked seasoning. on the plus, we had great service. even on a busy friday night.

how can arestaurantand service be awesome on the monday night and absolutely mediocre on the thursday night? i am talking no service and the exact same steak we came back for, absolutely tasteless. what a disappointment.

i don't know if coming from cape town means that my expectations of arestaurantare unreasonable for another city, but i had quite high expectations for little havana based on the reviews that i had read. in the end, i was a little disappointed by the quality of the meal (although it was very reasonably priced to be fair). overcooked steaks - for both myself and another person at the table - is a dealbreaker for a steak house. the nachos starter looked good, as did the tuna main. the service was good and therestaurantis appropriately decorated for a smart-casual dinner. i wouldn't return, but perhaps i was just unlucky with my experience.

beautiful restaurant, great service, great food. everytime i visit little havana the standard seems to go higher and higher. their steaks are always done to perfection and im not into dessert that much but i must say their desserts are a must have. thisrestaurantis in my top 5 all time favourites.

thisrestaurantwas a bit pricey but it was completely worth it! ive never had such good food and amazing service!
i came here with a large group (about 11) of people for a friend's birthday and they were very accommodating and professional.
loved this experience

really enjoyed a family dinner at little havana on thursday night. therestauranthad a lively atmosphere for a week day so we were glad we made reservations.
the camembert starter was delicious and the moroccan chicken livers were enjoyably spicy. for mains we had sirloin steak, duck, calamari and a salad. the proteins were all tender and flavorful and the salad was well dressed with plentiful toppings. the food is a little pricy but the portions were definitely filling.
service was great and timely even though therestaurantwas quite full.

little havana is a lovelyrestaurantsituated in umhlanga. i have only been here once on an anniversary date night, and it was enjoyable. the decor is classy and the service was good.

we went to umhlanga for a long weekend and treated ourselves to a meal at little havana. by far the bestrestauranti have ever been to. a little expensive but worth every cent. their steak is the best i have ever had, service was excellent and desserts to die for. a little bit of heaven in little havana

my family and i were in umhlanga for a weekend away and it was my turn to pick arestauranton the 4th night of our stay and i chose none other than little havana. might i add it being the best choice i've ever made. little havana was spectacular! tender, juicy steaks with mouth watering sauces to compliment each other. ontop of it all they have the most incredible desserts! i highly recommend the vanilla pannacotta, it will not dissapoint! as for service... it was proffesional, wonderful and friendly! we today still joke about returning to durban from johhanesburg just to go to little havana and somehow i dont think it's really a joke. we will be back soon little havana❤

without a doubt the bestrestauranti have ever been to. classy and delicious food. best calamari and tarter sauce, best prawns and the best chocolate fondant. my boyfriend said the steak was the best he's ever had. on top of the amazing food, the service was absolutely fantastic! i don't live in umhlanga but if i did i would want to eat there every single night. incredible.

the service and quality are in a class that is without question a cut above most other establishments in umhlanga rocks
the two dishes in question were both meat dishes and both were cooked to perfection
our waiter was very attentive and very professional

thisrestauranthosts such a posh atmosphere with service being one of the best however the food does not live up to the expectation of the place. the portions are quite small with prices being the total opposite. definitely not value for money. the starters were great however the mains were a big let down. the chicken was based in sauce on the outside n the inside was dry n hard to swallow. chops were of all random sizes and not even cooked properly. would definitely not recommended this place.
