great patio. lidia's has some of the best atmosphere in kc. the outdoor patio has a great view, if you can stand the constant sound of trains from union station, which i think only adds to the ambiance. i always get the lemon and olive chicken (i can't remember the italian title) which is just the most succulent chicken nesting on spinach that's in a bath of lemon and olives. just wonderful! my husband always gets the pasta trio, where servers constantly bring out fresh skillets of pasta to refill your plate. fresh bread and olive oil dips are always on the table, and salad is including with most entrees, making this a special evening out (some entrees are pricey). it's worth it!
