if you want a greatplacefor a breakfast, a snack, a afternoon meal, or you feel any kind of food-craving extravaganza, just go to lemon crepe & coffee. went there for breakfast on a lovely winter saturday morning, and what a great decision it was. had the cheese and mushroom omelette and a egg and bacon crepe. i believe the omelette was the best i've had in my life, and the crepe is just a gift sent from heaven. superb food! the space inside is small and busy, but there's also some spaces outside, which are kept cozy with the help of a couple of heat radiators, making it completely bareable to sit outside and enjoy your food!

theplacewas way too busy, and the seating was uncomfortable (no space to even move your hands wide. despite that, i see myself going here over and over cos the food was absolutely delicious. it was probably the best savoury crepe i've ever had (had their ultimate cheese crepe!).

whenever i get a pancake craving, there's noplacein town that can quite compete with lemon. their strawberries and nutella pancakes topped with vanilla ice cream are diabetes on a plate. in fact, pretty much all their sweet crepes are. no regrets.

lemon does pretty much any kind of crepe you'd like - breakfast, sweet, savoury - and if it's not on the menu but they have the ingredients, they'll happily mix and match for you if you ask. and on the off chance that you're not in a crepe mood, they even do waffles, coffees, juices, etc too.

as a hot chocolate fan, it actually surprises me that one of the best places in the city centre to get a great hot chocolate is lemon - it's no accents or butlers, but it's definitely following close behind them. that said, i wouldn't advise getting a hot chocolate with a super chocolately crepe... i'm speaking from experience my friends. too much of a good thing can genuinely turn out to be too much of a good thing, and i ended up leaving the cafe with a sugar coma. be warned.

the prices aren't too bad, €7.50 roughly for your pancake with toppings, but since it really is aplaceyou'd only come once in a while, i think that's reasonable. the main problem is finding seating and navigating around trinity students during peak hours. the cafe has long benches and some smaller tables at the back, but when there's any amount of people in the cafe, it can be hard to get around without bumping into someone. and if there is quite a few in the place, then you could be waiting a good while for your crepes - understandably the staff can only make one order at a time given their limited working space!

all in all, it's aplacei'd recommend going on a saturday morning or late on a weekday afternoon, but avoid at all costs around lunch!

this lively cafe used to be a favourite of mine when i was in college so i was delighted to return here last week. there is always a buzzy vibe here and the staff are quite quirky and friendly. the only negative i have to mention is that the cleanliness behind the counter left a lot to be desired with pancake batter and odd tissues everywhere. i ordered the chicken cheese tikka tomato crepe and i was not disappointed, my friend had the power crepe which was also tasty. thisplacecaters for everyones needs. on a cold day make sure and get a table well in from the door as it tends to get quite chilly close to the door.

good spot for a crepe on the go; though if you sit in the bright orange glow of theplacefor too long you're sure to leave with a headache!
