we are new to marsthon & went in for lunch. the woman who waited on us was rude @ condesending. when we ordered water to drink with our meals she acted like we had offended her. my husband & i were astonished at her attitude. the people at the next table even said something to us about her acting so rudely. as we were leaving (after a couple of dry sandwiches) i tried to be nice & smiled & said "thank you" & she just looked at me like i was telling her something bad. so then i ask of i can please speak to the manager & i am informed that she is the owner. we love marathon but won't be patronizing leigh ann's coffee house. many of the longtime locals don't go there because of the same type of treatment.
