i enjoy lee's. the variety of vietnamese sandwiches is unmatched. and the product is pretty good. freshbread and ingredients. i do wish the taste was a notch above, however. this is sorta the subway of vietnamese sandwiches. got it? lol.

you also have to put up with numbers being called loudly over the speaker system. it is a bit distracting if you are looking for a quiet, intimate lunch. it's a marathon of activity and if you are looking to grab a good, quick sandwich, this is the place for you!

have had sandwiches from here but have never crossed their threshold. sometimes folks get a bunch to go and i benefit.

updated. today i went by for lunch. tried both asian and european sandwiches and the beef pho. all were delicious.

they make their own baguettes right in the store. they taste amazing allfreshand warm. even subway could get a solid 4 on this bread.

==============

i have had both the vietnamese and european style sandwiches. both are good.

they also sell the wonderful baguettes that are the foundation of their sandwiches by themselves. they are sooo good.

best baguette in town. it's crusty, chewy, tasty. i know my baguettes, and this pretty good.

traded banh mis with my mother, who liked my experimental selection as much as i liked her choice of bbq pork. the oklahoma gullet might see a skinny, insubstantial thing, but it's a filling and flavorful sandwich. i'd like more zip and crunch from the veggies, but as long as i can snag afreshbaguette or two to take home, i'm happy.

asian veg sandwich. the asian veg sandwich, combined withfreshcarrot juice, is the best quick lunch. especially when the jalapeños are extra hot!

excellent sandwiches and stay for the smoothies!. very clean-tasting food -- lots of superfreshveggies piled high and wonderfully flavorful breads baked right there in the store. most of the smoothies i have tried have been excellent (my favorites are the watermelon, strawberry, and banana, the cantaloupe not so much). the gelatos are also a great treat with some unusual flavors and some more traditional. they have a wide selection of asian treats as well -- don't be afraid to try the green waffle with coconut and rice! it's like a dessert!

friendly, fast, fantastic.freshsandwiches on your choice offreshbaguettes or croissants. i always get the baguette. great lunch for $5. we also often stop in to getfreshbread for $1 to take home to eat with dinner. they always throw in an extra, so you really get 2 for 1.

don't let the number of vehicles in the parking lot deter you from going to eat there. the lot is almost completely full of cars, but there's hardly ever any line or wait for your food. bizarre-o. maybe friends always meet there and drive themselves, or maybe they have a hundred folks working in the back. who knows, but it is rather odd.

great place.

veryfreshexcellent asian sandwiches on french bread. you can't beat a 10" for under $4, especially from a chain. they also sell bags of day old bread for cheap.

lots of food for little price. they give you the best price for sandwiches of any asian sandwich shop. they have a large selection. they havefreshmeat pastries on the side for as little as under a dollar. they have ice cream and asian puddings you can't find many other places. great fallback place to eat.

cheap tasty sandwiches!. you can get a really decent sandwich for cheap at lee's! i couldn't believe my turkey, ham, and cheese (with mayo, lettuce, and tomato) on afresh10" baguette was only $3.45! as my date commented upon first bite, the baguette has a great crusty crunch, but starts to melt in your mouth! i tried the manjoo things some others mentioned on here, which i would liken to a little twinkie. i didn't particularly like them as the sweet bread was dense and tasted stale, but to be fair, they were sold out of thefreshones and we had to try the day-old ones. and if i remember correctly, you can get a bag of day-old baguettes for just $1.15.

wonderful crusty baguettes. excellent iced coffee, sweet and bitter at the same time. i didn't use it but there's an atm inside.

oct. 12, 09: i hadn't noticed the free wi-fi until i saw someone using their computer today. the sandwiches are still great, mostly due to the excellent quality of the baguettes and croissants andfreshingredients. there's just really no way for them to go wrong.

baguettes are still buy one get one. you can make awesome garlic bread with them and with 2 for one there's a chance you'll get one home. any time a serving suggestion says "serve with crusty bread" this would do the trick.

croissants come in small and large and are buttery and flaky.

ice cream comes in some familiar and some unusual flavors: plenty of chocolate and cookie choices, lee's coffee, and then there's mango, honeydew, kiwi.
