leann's tea house

have long heard of great things about leann's tea house.  happy to discover that they also have unlimited samgyupsal with lots of options and offered at an affordable price.  while my sister loves their jjamyun, i highly recommend their spicy ojinguh.  my first dining experience makes me want to come back to try more of their dishes.

masarap dito ung sangyupsal. okay ung sides, okay ung meats. okay din ang waiters nagkkusa sila baka dahil s service charge. food is 5/5. d ko na rrate ung service kasi hindi naman tlga yun ang irrate mo s isang kainan kundi ung pagkain talaga but they're great.

the staff, most especially chris, were very accommodating and patient. the food was good, although i hope they would give bigger servings because it was also tiring to watch them go back and forth our table to refill our food. 😅

my favorite samgyup buffet at the moment. they have the leanest of meat amongst their competition and premium selection of beef including my favorite, meltique (which i buy a kilo in s&r for 1400/kilo) for the price of 699. they also have cheese, egg and corn on the side.
service is impecable too! they have alert and very attentive servers who would offer to cook your meet for you to make the eating time faster.
minus points for limited parking and small roaches on the ground floor. dont worry, the buffet area is on the 2nd floor, and i didnt see any sign of roach there.

as far as korean grills go, the fare is pretty standard. the service on the other hand may take the cake. friendly, and accommodating staff will greet you. from the pleasant security assisting you with parking, to the attentive waiters and waitresses (they even offered to, and did grill our meat for us), to the owner who opens the door for you as you come in and leave. 👍👍👍
on the flip side, seating is a bit low, making the grill about eye level, if uour not a 6 footer, and the local news in filioino on the tv kinda killed the korean vibe. 👎
for around 1k for 2? not bad, not bad at all. this definitely warrants a repeat visit!

food was "okay." their samgyupsal was not good. not so many dips. their banchan was only 4. i asked them for refill three times before they were able to provide it. the staff were so disrespectful. you had to ask them a few times. they were laughing and giggling on the sides. no exhaust fan was available. the area was too foggy from the grill. no available parking space. i would never eat here again. i don't understand the hype!

foods are great. we ordered cheese buldak, bulgogi kimbap, and the unli samgyupsal and woosamgyup. ✔️

staffs are accomodating ✔️

ambiance is not that clean. and super init nakaka walang gana kumain. ‼️❌

there seems to be no ventilation on the place. food took too long to be served. when it came, we we're served with just the meat - no rice, no glasses to drink on, no side dishes so we waited again for those. the only things that saved it is the delicious food and it's cheap.

i loved their fried chicken and their kimchi.

ambience: modern. no korean teahouse vibe

food: nothing special. same taste as other korean restos.

service: we were a group of 12 but they didnt have the same efficiency as other korean restos in the area. kaunti din yung side dishes at limited lang unlike sa ibang restos.

general remark: it's ok. better to try others (hwaroro, silla)

their omurice, samyupsal, place, spicy chicken cheese and kimchi heaaveeen definitely coming back the place also is nice u wont smell like smoke when u go out! my fave korean restaurant 💟💟💟

the only basis i have when i booked this place for mother's day was the ratings... and it didnt dissappoint me. the staff was so courteous and approachable. definitely i'll be back!

one of our favorite korean restaurants to date. do order their jjajangmyeon, japchae, ojingo bokkeum, fried mandu, hameul pajeon, dakgangjeon and kimchi fries. highly recommended. would have given it a perfect rating if parking and proper ventilation weren’t a problem.

service is so slow, space is too small for that much tables. they cook the meat themselves and leave it to attend to customers to meat becomes overcooked and hard. the experience was very bad and i would not recommend this restaurant at all

planning to have a korean dinner with my cousin just to catch up, so i checked zomato and saw that this resto is the most reccomended..

arriving the resto..
❌ no proper parking area (you park on the street)

went inside and luckily we have a seat but sharing it with other customers because the place is too crowded and caters only about 10 tables (so the place is small)

ordering..
we ordered about 6 ala carte dishes since we choose not to eat the "unli pork/beef" then the waiter told us that we wont be grilling our own food since we ordered only ala carte (❌strike 1). then came the 4 side dish which korean resto gives as a starter. then we ask for a refill of the side dish then the waiter w/ an attitude said we can only have 1 refill since we didn't order the "unlimited." which for me and my cousin that's so unlikely for a korean resto since other restos are so genuine in giving side dishes as long as you order 2 or more dishes from their menu. (❌already turned off!! strike 2) then came our order of the korean beef barbeque, the waiter gave only 1 set of sauce for it, so we asked for 1 sauce per each, then the waiter with an attitude told us for every order of the bbq 1 sauce only. wth?! really? you want us a group of 4 to share 1 tiny sauce to dip into?! (❌strike 3) laway niya laway mo?! my cousin got pissed how the way of the waiter told us that she even offered to pay for every sauce, because the waiter keeps repeating that we should share 1 set of sauce. anyway, so we had our dinner the food was ok all basic except fo ethe kimchi rice which we enjoyed a lot. good thing the food is ok, but having good food is not enough if you have a bad service ❌❌❌

10/10 would come back again! their serving size is pretty big, too much for just two people.

parking may be a problem, but other than that, it hit the spot for my korean craving!
