not worth the wait, the price or the hype!. if you want to be ripped off, and told off for the owner for complaining about food quality, this is the place to come. the not-so-friendly owner was a complete ass and would not take an order of toast off the bill that was disgusting... a $2 item. seriously egos are too big at this place and the food was blah. omlette and rosti were cold and terrible, eggs benny were just ok... and the prices are a rip for what you get... lots of better choices!

usually a reliable eatery in the king west area, last nights dinner was disappointingly bland from the usual flavorful and hot meals i've had there in the past. i took 4 friends and re commended it highly based on previous visits but unfortunately the consensus was just "ok". i hope the owners see this & step it up to their usual level of quality.

amazing brunch. i had the eggs florentine and a mimosa, my friends had the egg benjamin and the hungry gal (fish cakes) with orange juice. we all loved our meals, from the portion to the taste. loved loved loved the finely shredded potato rosti and apple coleslaw. the eggs were perfectly poached and the english muffins were buttered just right.

be prepared to wait some time to get your table, and make sure all members of the party are there.

best eggs benny i've ever had! i always seem to choose eggs benny when out for brunch and this place has mastered this dish! most tasty breakfast i've had. cute ambience and great service. just expect to wait to get a table. it's a popular place for a reason! ;)

this french/belgian inspired restaurant also features classic bistro favorites at lunch and dinner. i popped by here for breakfast and ordered the most simple of breakfast offerings…i figure if they can’t fry and egg or crisp their bacon they aren’t worth mentioning. i ordered the hungry gal: two eggs, toast, potato rosti, apple coleslaw and bacon. a hot cup of java and one is good to go in this cutesy comfortable space.

overall, i would say someone in the back really knows how to create surprising but pleasant combinations. the restaurant part of the place needs some work though.

great place. loved our breakfast here over the christmas break - for once in a restuarant the portion sizes were perfect, and not huge! tasted great too

after a painful two years of putting off going to pd simply because i didn't want to wait in line for two hours... i finally sucked it up and decided to go broke or go home. turns out that on this particular sunday the lineup was only about 25 minutes. so far, so good... i knew right away what i was going in for- the waffles benny. i love waffles, but i also feel that it is my civic duty to try some sort of eggs benedict at every brunch spot i go ( you see i am in search for the perfect benny... still haven't found it). my dish was really good... the waffles were light as air and so incredibly crisp and my egg was cooked to perfection, made even better sandwiched between a delicious lemony hollandaise and crispy peameal. my dates' dish (a 3 cheese omelette) was full of flavour and super cheesy - and definitely cooked right ( i hate when omelettes are dry or rubbery). i will be returning to try the apple pancakes, the eggy bread or the croque monsier.
