super sulit and homey ng feels when you dine in here at laziz restaurant! i think their prices justify the generous and quality serving of their food items. you will also get to know the difference between the dishes as the owners of the resto are very hospitable and they share knowledge on what they cook and prepare. we will come back for sure..mga next week. haha! thank you tita aiza and daughter for the homey and 'laziz' experience!

we ordered the following items:

1.chickenbiryani: 350
2. shish barak: 450
3. beef shawarma: 130
4. sambousak : 220
5. pita bread: 30

simply one of the best and most authentic mediterranean food that ive ever experienced here in antipolo. really well prepared and handled with a good place to drop by. the taste of their food was well tuned to accommodate  the filipino taste buds while having it as authentic as possible.

really reminds me of one of my trips from the middle east. they really hit the authentic flavor specially thechickentazaj and their meat dishes while having the prices reasonably affordable.
as must dine place specially if you're a fan of shawarmas and middle eastern food.

first, you need to make a reservation before going here so they can prepare your food ahead of time prior your arrival to prevent the long wait. 😉

we loved the ambiance and the cozy theme of the place; every corner was indeed instagram-worthy. the food were personally prepared and served by owner/chef.
our favorite was thechickenbiryani rice 👍🏻 we also had the beef biryani and beef kebab which were also good and their bestsellers.

we enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely visit again. 💕

ordered the following for 2 pax for lunch:
halfchickenbiryani
halfchickenkabsa
hummus and pita

i am biased towards arabian food having experienced authentic ones, and i must say these are the most authentic tasting spicedchickenand rice here around the metro. the biryani is well spiced and complex tasting, with a little kick of hotness to the rice that makes you want to eat more. the kabsa has a more mellow spice, no hotness to it but with a nutty flavor. paired with their spicy salsa, the fall-off-the-bonechickenis a treat to munch on. i ate this using my hands just like how the saudis do, and it really takes me back. only thing missing is eating while sitting on the floor, with the food presented on a large stainless basin.

serving size of one halfchickendish is great, equivalent to at least 3 cups of rice and can be shared by two people. ordered both so i can try and check which one i liked more. i used to be able to finish 1 serving including the halfchickenon my own, but it is so good i wanted to bring some back at home and let my family have a taste.

the place is easy to find if you know what to search. you have to input family for christ church in waze and make sure it is within inday village in antipolo, just past the roundabout after shopwise. the place looks like a home, and the host was very gracious and hospitable, and even offered a free salad for us which she says is a must to pair with the dishes, especially when she found out that i went to saudi myself as her husband is also a saudi.

looking forward to coming back and trying what i originally wanted to try, thechickenmandi, which was unfortunately unavailable due to the rain making the open pit cooking unavailable. i prefer the biryani due to the spicy kick, but the mandi is comforting as well, as both uses authentic arabian spices. this place is a definite recommendation.

if you’re someone who enjoys middle eastern food then be prepared to love the cuisine even more when you visit this place.

me and my friends from the east decided to check this place out as i have read somewhere that this place serves excellent middle eastern food at very affordable prices. who doesn’t want awesome food at cheap prices right?

anyway, we went to the place and the ride was kinda hard. yah, that’s the downside of this place. you gotta pass through some narrow road and a bit of road construction. parking is a bit of a challenge too as they only have around 3 parking slots. you can park at a nearby store though.

so we got inside and the place was squeeky clean. simple design and really homey. ordered our food and got the first few dishes in 15min. the others took longer as they only cook the dishes when ordered. totally understandable. and hey, grilling to perfection takes time, right?

we got tons of food coz we were super hungry. eveything tasted really good especially if you know how to eat them. just a tip, make sure to use the sauces and sides when eating as the main dish will taste bland if you don’t. again, if you know how to eat, you will absolutely love the food.

my absolute fave was thechickenbiryani. great cook on the chicken, moist, and had the right amount of flavor. the rice was oh so good too! and you know why? coz they use legit basmati rice. imported from the middle east. also enjoyed their shawarma, shrimps, and the salads. oh man, would absolutely love to be back.

wonderfully surprised that nestled in the outskirts of antipolo is a place that
serves middle eastern and filipino fussion dishes far better than the ones you see in the malls. the two main reasons are: the ingredients are all authentic and fresh. thechickenbiryani was superb! all the dishes we picked (humus, beef andchickenshawarma, sambousak) were so memorable that we plan to go back. we also tried ox tail kare kare (creamy and flavorful) and grilled squid(succulent and tender) all done to perfection. not to forget their desserts: red velvet and chocolate cake (i like it because they are moist and not too sweet) you will remember them with a smile because you want to have it again. the owner/chef really puts a lot of love in preparing the dishes.this is a fine place to relax, have lunch/dinner with family and friends-good food and good conversation.

laziz is a bit off the beaten path but surely worth the try! they serve authentic mediterranean dish and when i say authentic, from rice they use basmati (long grain and very aromatic), to imported herbs and spices, to farm fresh halal meats. the dishes are great, very flavorful and the serving was very generous. my personal favorites are the shawarma, lamb kebab, and thechickenbiryani! by the way, the dishes are prepared by the very passionate owner.

the food is great. they use basmati rice for biryani, which is a very expensive rice. tazaj bbqchickenis very tender and tasty. you can smell the aroma of high quality spices used on every dish. the dips are superb specially tahini and hummus.

the staff was polite, and attentive. however, the owner, although accommodating, tend to overstay her welcome especially during the meal and after which makes it a little awkward.

we ordered theirchickenbiryani platter, each serving is good for one but can definitely be shared by two, even three maybe and it costs 275php. i also ordered a side dish of hummus and a 9" pita, which were sold separately the hummus for 50php and the 9" pita for 30php.

they have fruit juices and shakes in their menu which was not available when we went there, so my husband and i each got ourselves a can of royal and pineapple juice, which goes about 50php each or something.
their food, our order at least, was good. a little too spicy for my taste, but my husband enjoyed it a lot. the serving was very generous and they used authentic spices and a mix of long and semi-long grain rice. thechickentasted familiar, reminds me of rotisseriechickenthat you can get from supermarkets or andok's or something of the sort. it was good but lacked flavor from the meat itself.

their hummus was good also, it had the right amount of nut, smoke, and spice plus its was portioned generously. the pita, however, tasted store-bought, as opposed to their claim that it was made by the owner but it didn't take away my joy when i dipped it into the hummus and savored every bit of it...

we were able to taste their shawarma but it wasn't as good as i expected. perhaps i haven't tasted too much variety of shawarma so i'm not so sure if it's really supposed to be too bland (salt less).

nonetheless, it was a good experience. i would recommend it.
