laziz restaurant

ordered the following for 2 pax for lunch:
half chicken biryani
half chicken kabsa
hummus and pita

i am biased towards arabian food having experienced authentic ones, and i must say these are the most authentic tasting spiced chicken and rice here around the metro. the biryani is well spiced and complex tasting, with a little kick of hotness to the rice that makes you want to eat more. the kabsa has a more mellow spice, no hotness to it but with a nutty flavor. paired with their spicy salsa, the fall-off-the-bone chicken is a treat to munch on. i ate this using my hands just like how the saudis do, and it really takes me back. only thing missing is eating while sitting on the floor, with the food presented on a large stainless basin.

serving size of one half chicken dish is great, equivalent to at least 3 cups of rice and can be shared by two people. ordered both so i can try and check which one i liked more. i used to be able to finish 1 serving including the half chicken on my own, but it is so good i wanted to bring some back at home and let my family have a taste.

the place is easy to find if you know what to search. you have to input family for christ church in waze and make sure it is within inday village in antipolo, just past the roundabout after shopwise. the place looks like a home, and the host was very gracious and hospitable, and even offered a free salad for us which she says is a must to pair with the dishes, especially when she found out that i went to saudi myself as her husband is also a saudi.

looking forward to coming back and trying what i originally wanted to try, the chicken mandi, which was unfortunately unavailable due to the rain making the open pit cooking unavailable. i prefer the biryani due to the spicy kick, but the mandi is comforting as well, as both uses authentic arabian spices. this place is a definite recommendation.

celebrated my 22nd birthday at laziz restaurant with my family and girlfriend. very homey ambiance and super delicious food. will definitely dine again here and recommend with my friends. they have lots of cats too for cat lovers like me.

thr owner was especially warm and cordial, the meal was hearty and is authentic mediterranean cuisine, overall the experience was great and memorable. would definitely recommend!

this is one of a kind place with unique taste of foods served... the servings ... the ambiance and the owner is so accomodating nd approachable...
i keep on coming back here especially everytime there is new healthy menu to explore and taste... i just love it ❤... and the price is right...

went here by recommendation, we didn’t know it was by reservation but they still accommodated us without one. really enjoyed the food as it was flavorful. the owner personally greeted us as well. had the hummus, beef biryani and mixed kebab and enjoyed all of them 👍🏻

the biryani is the best we've tried. will definitely come back. the place is accessible through e.rodriguez ave (going to teresa). the address in google and waze is inaccurate.

my mediterranean craving is fully satisfied. foods are all tasty and surprisingly loved by my kids, ambience is very relaxing and the accomodation is indeed one of a kind. a place for all ages and a superb experience for our family. sa uulitin mama aiza! kudos to your wonderful & delicious cooking!

never thought i'll be loving mediterranean food so much! thank you laziz restaurant for the superb meal. a must recommend, to all who are looking for extra ordinary and special place to be with family and friends. plus, the fact that my son who is very picky on what to eat loved the biryani! surely be coming back for another experience of great accommodation, service and food.

a hidden gem in antipolo. serving authentic mediterranean cuisine, so far one of the best i have ever tasted here in the country. the owner, tita aiza is very warm and accommodating. ambiance is rustic and very homey, a little paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

best biryani so far that i have tasted here in the philippines, it is just too spicy but still the best for me (you can request the spice level). all the foods are within my expectations 👌

the owner is very approachable and friendly ☺️. by the way you have to book a table for them to prepare your food ahead of time. we are just lucky to walk in and accommodated right away by the owner, (thank you so much). we will definitely come back to taste their lamb! (a call is a must for them to prepare ahead of time).

my family were so happy to discover a hidden gem in antipolo. the food, ambience, and service were excellent. they're very generous in terms of food portions and hospitality, plus they treated us with their refreshing malunggay juice. their kabsah and shish barak were to die for. hopefully, they would expand their menu for more desserts hehe.

the food is great and flavorful, and the owner is very accommodating. ordered prawn biryani, awsal beef kebab, and greek salad for pick-up. the food was newly cooked and already prepared at the agreed time of pick-up. will definitely order again 👍👍

food is authentic and the service is one of the best services i have encountered. the ambiance of the resto makes you hungry, the aroma of the dishes makes you even hungrier. i always go back for more.
