travelling through town on business and wanted something convenient (i had low expectations) but i got much, much more. firstly, the bar staff on entry were incredibly friendly. secondly, the dish i ordered i was divine- i ordered the gnocchi arrabiata with a creamy chilli napoli topped with crumbed bacon and parmesan. finally, the thoughtfulness of staff was a real stand out, i was sitting with a laptop open in a noisy area and i was approached by 2 different wait staff offering me a quieter place to sit. a surprisingly good experience and a great way to finish off a long day.

won’t come back. very average food and way too over priced. fine if you want a bowl of chips and a parma but anything else, don’t waste your time.

this place is great. great hospitality from staff. had the best fish and chips from this place made me reminisce of my time in england. prices were fair and i'd look forward to visiting bendigo again if it means i can visit this place

ate here recently during a visit to bendigo and was pleasantly surprised. attentive, friendly wait staff and delicious food. highlights were the saganaki, salt & pepper calamari, fish tacos and grain salad. my only criticism is a waitress wearing shorts that were better suited to the running track. not very professional. despite this i would definitely dine here again.

so great to be able to eat out again. started keto so choices on a menu are now important to me. i had stuffed mushrooms and saganaki and it was devine, music great place lovely, staff lovely. i did find a hair but am hoping it was my own.. 😬 paul has parma and rated it 8/10 but he eats a lot of parma’s 🤗

went out with my better half and the girls. all the food was well presented, little waiting esp as the place was pretty busy for a sunday night. you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves and the wait staff were helpful. i would greatly recommended anyone to try here and the apple parfait i had for dessert was worth the trip on its own.

recently attended for a function in beer garden, another large group was booked out in the beer garden for 7pm for dinner & function i attended was booked from 8pm. was told by staff not to worry & that group should be done by time party started. this was not the case and im sure wouldn't have been a pleasent experience for patrons having dinner having a function going on around them whilst trying to eat dinner.

finger food wasnt brought out until 10pm and bar in beer garden wasnt opened for tab and everyone had to keep walking inside through bistro to order drinks.

tables had to be rearranged half way through party after other dinner guests left, causing some disruption.

staff were more concerned with dinner bookings and not very welcoming or helpful.

one of the wait staff melea was lovely & etremely friendly & helpful.

all in all, pretty poor experience.
wont be rushing back & definitely will not be spending money here myself on a function if this the way you are treated.

my son and i both had the scotch fillet steak. my sons response "11 out of 10". relaxing and up to date decor and wonderful staff.
i found my meal large and "unforgettable!"
we will definitely eat there again next time we are in bendigo...

hit and miss with food and dining. while most meals were lovely deserts left a lot to be desired. great staff and service though disappointed with seating by the bar right in front of male toilets where we could see all. need to thinking about table positions in the resturant.

surprising and friendly.. when we arrived we had to go through the front bar to get to the bistro and beer garden. don't let the dingy tab deceive you - this is very good pub grub.

i had fig, blue cheese and prosciutto pizza as recommended by our particularly friendly wait staff for starters and it was perfect.

we ordered the pub staples - i asked for a parma and my partner for a burger. parma came with uninteresting coleslaw but the parma and chipa were delicious.

my partners burger was full of delicious chumks of meat, and the louisiana bbq sauce was sweet and tangy. the only thing that let it down was the bun which looked like a white burger roll from coles.

very impressive from a quietish venue on the edge of the bendigo cbd.

count confit. this place is showing signs of being a great food and wine pub. have eaten here a few times recently. a standout dish of figs marscopone tealle and serranno ham was brilliant. a rich duck pie was unctiuos.

i have noticed renovations taking place here so it should be exciting to see what this new crew comes up with.

beer is great staff helpful and pleasant all in all one to watch

a great location but the food is a bit hit and miss....

great parma!!. family get together was here, staff were very friendly, great service & always with a smile. good wine list & along with beer list. i chose the parmigiana, and it was the best one i've had in a while! wasn't dry, the sauce was very tangy, and it was a good size. enjoyed the raffle in the bar also on the friday night. can't wait to revisit again.

great pub with new management. really progressing things with a fantastic wine list and the upcoming menu looks terrific. i had a delicious burger and everyone in the large group l was with raved about their meals. keep up the good work!!

had a great night there last night celebrating with family. delicious meals, great wine list showcasing local wines as well as a selection of other australian favourites, friendly staff with good service. definitely worth a visit !
