i've eaten here now a few times and everytime i leave i can't wait to go back! the staff are so friendly and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated. the lunch menu for €12:95 is such a bargain and the starter wings are fab! the food is always lovely. couldn't recommend here enough!

good food and good service. the dessert menu had only two homemade desserts and some of the options were already missing. the location is really good and time in qeue for table was less than the predicted.

an italian restaurant with very good pizzas, pastas and risottos. the food is nice and not expensive. although it was a bit hard to cut the pizza, with other knife it would be easier. it has a great ambient and it's in a really nice location.

its a true authentic italian, apart from the regulars on the menu i think missing their tiramisu is a sin which you shouldn't resist. i've been a regular their for so many years, and do love to revisit everytime single time i go back to the city, its right in the heart of the city.

good option to eat italian food near temple bar.

we stayed near the window and was nice to seat to enjoy from the sound of the streets.

i tried pizza, calzone, and was nice and tasty. missing a bit of salt to open the flavours.

the service is great, always on time if you need anything. the food did not take long at all, and tasted delicious. not to loud music and very cosy.

they were going to give our table away as we were ten minutes late, we got held up due to heavy rain showers.
this restaurant advertises bookings, yet as we rang to book, we were told that they only take walk in's.
menu on website differs from menu presented at restaurant.
starters arrived at 7 minute intervals.
it took 15 minutes to take dessert order.
deserts arrived 5 minutes apart.
the restaurant is small.
in fairness the staff were pleasant but not efficient.
we found it a tad pricey for what we got.

this place has the most amazing risotto in dublin. the location is very convenient, the price is well adjusted for the big portions, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is nice. pizzas, lasagna and pastas are great! but try the risotto zuka, and you won't be able to order anything else again :)

we were 8 and it was already 9pm on a saturday.... after walking half dublin looking for a decent place to have dinner for 8 people we found la gondola, and thank god!
the staff welcomed us very nicely, and we got to try a little bit of everything there was on the menu. everything was great and no one left the place hungry!
great alternative to escape busy places 😊

for the times i've been in la gondola, i always left the place happy and full! the food is amazing and price/quality relation is very good! i love to eat some pizza or pasta with a hot pot of tea! last time the pasta was a bit hot but still so good there was nothing left in plate!
moreover the place is very cosy with great decoration! one of my favs in dublin!

armed with a voucher from the lovely folk in zomato, myself and himself arrived for lunch after a busy morning shopping. we opted for a carbtastic selection of pizza roma (lovely crispy base, fresh tomato sauce and plenty of topping), the lasagne (piping hot and delicious, served with a side salad), garlic bread with cheese (pure gluttony) and chips (crispy). we finished off with the homemade tiramisu (relatively mild favour but creamy and sweet) and two espressos.

italian restaurants are many in the city centre, but the location just off the main temple bar thoroughfare is very convenient. the dining area is intimate and cosy- a good place to recharge the batteries!

staff were very friendly too. we'll be back!

this is such a fabulous restaurant.  a real gem.  we decided to have a mid week trip into the city for some dinner and had been given a voucher for la gondola which needed to be used.  i have to admit, i had never heard about it before but will definitely be back again.  it was one of the most delicious meals i've had in a while and they haven't fallen into the "we're in temple bar so we'll charge a fortune" trap.  very reasonably priced but the quality is fantastic.

we shared a generous portion of chicken wings to start.  my daughter had the pizza and chips (omg, best chips ever!!!!), himself had the lasagne with chips (seriously...the chips are sooooo good!) and i had the chicken venizia.  i can honestly say we were blown away.  my dish was delicious down to the very last pea.  i tried all of the dishes and was equally impressed with each one.  my daughter tends to eat only a fraction of her meal, but last night she ate til she physically couldn't eat anymore and even took the remaining pizza home with her - first time!!  himself had 2 glasses of house red and i had a delicious cappuccino after dinner.

i would also like to compliment the staff - they were just wonderful.  so friendly and warm.

it's just so good - you need to try it.
