came between their lunch hours. came in with boyfriend and friend who are both from southern california wheremexicanfood is in abundance and the food is as pretty authentic. we ordered a sangria and margaritas. the drinks seemed a little weak which was a real buzz kill however for $3 it was decent.

asked what the waiter would recommend and his response was "everything is good!.." after looking through the menu we ordered and apparently only i felt it was yummy however, i'm not very familiar withmexicanfood.

i ordered the fajitas with steak which was served with 4 tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, rice, and beans. the steak was tender, the onions were grilled perfectly, and the rice was yummy. the guacamole didn't taste too fresh and was starting to brown. all together still a 4 on my rating. i'm a fairly big buy and i was completely full afterwards. i'd order this again.

boyfriend ordered the fajita quesadilla which he says was good. good friend ordered the pork burrito which was thought lacked meat and was too smothered in beans.

the staff was pleasant yet slow. all in all i'd still come back to give them another chance.

mad love for la costa!. besides the fact that this place is like a block from my house it is hands down the bestmexicanjoint in town. i can't even set foot in azteca anymore unless it's happy hour and la costa is too packed. true authenticmexicanand the service is always great. most of my friends go here as well and love it. the carne asada is great and so is the pollo a la crema. and if you have a chance ask for a side of shrimp costenos, it usually comes as a side to fajitas costenos but you can order it as a side and it is the best shrimp ever! if you are on a diet, don't even go there, it's a dish of butter and garlic goodness with shrimp and cheese. mmmmmm! margarits are always a hit too!

wow! it's about time that i've found a greatmexicanresturant in the puget sound. loved the chips & salsa, enchilada, chili colorado and the chili verde. i'm going back soon to my favoritemexicanresturant!

its the best menudo !. the menu is average nothing special. for me though on what stands out is the menudo ! ok this is for all of you kids who have no idea what im talking about.

this is the real dealmexicantripe soup! tripe ie:" the lineing of a cows stomach" dont be a squemish gringo and go ahead and order .

besides we all need a great soup and this one feeds the need. the weather sucks so order a bowl of red menudo and enjoy. ya only live once !

they have great mole sauce! we have been looking for a goodmexicanplace near home and we have found it! definitely we will be back.

my favoritemexicanspot!. i've been eating here since, as i've been told, a week or two after i was born (so, about 21 years). they have absolutely deliciousmexicanfood and every person i bring here agrees that there is something special about the flavor. their enchilada sauce is amazing and i can't help but order it with everything else. plus, their chips, beans, and salsa always help make a perfect meal even better.

finally, the people that work there are all super nice!

hands down the bestmexicanfood i have ever aten!. been a while since i've been at this joint but man oh man does it bring a smile to my face remembering all the fun times i had with my aunts, uncles and family eating here. even had a date take me there once. very cool coastal,mexicanflare and decor, very hospitable friendly staff. food is totally awesome and delicious!
