the pruneyard
kyoto palace (japanese) a dinner we'll never forget. the service is rather quick, you'd probably never know the passage of time unless you had a watch or did nothing. the show they put on is very enjoyable to watch and the food that they serve to your plate from that show is exquisite!
i forget the actual name of the order but i had the all seafood order: cooked shrimp, scallops, and calamari. each chef has their own unique specialty, such as twirling the knives in mid-air, or flipping egg shells into their hat, maybe making the bowls of rice fly thru the air without the rice falling! every second was enjoyable!

had a blast!. we had a large group come here for a late dinner - they were very accommodating. the teppan experience outshined the food, although everything was quite delicious. great selection of sake, many of which we tried that evening :) the chefs were very fun and involved us in the cooking experience, returning smiles and hand tricks to our chanting. the waitresses were saints seeing as a party of 10+ needed separate checks. overall we had a blast and im glad we chose kyoto palace that night.

this reatarunt was suggested to us by a friend. we originally came here and signed up to eat at the teppan grilll.......after going to the bar for drinks and appetizers while we waited we decided to try sushi for the first time. i asked stephanie a slew of questions about what we should order according to what we liked. at the same time, armondo, who creates the sushi was listening and made us exactly what we wanted! we cancelled our seats on the other side and stayed for more here. we felt very taken care of and special on our first sushi experience! thank you stephanie & armondo! terry & deb delargy

kyoto is a guaranteed good time! we go for every special occasion and when we're hungry. fridays and saturdays the bar side provides live music. wednesday nights are our favorite night out- the bar side has a packed karaoke party!!!
