don't go. over priced for the quality of food. service was slow, performance was not so impressive. we spent $273.00 and one person sent back a long island ice tea because it was made wrong, and the waiter said " thanks, now i have to pay for that." well don't make it wrong! i will not return. simply a matter of time before these doors are closed for good.

overall unsat. so i paid full price for a kids meal for my 4 year old ($10.50). two other adults paid to share with their 6 year olds. the chef gave the older kids more food even though i paid full price. second, most hibachi grills fill you with more than a cup of rice, your choice of white or fried. this place only gives you a small bowl of white or seasoned. it is $3.00 extra for fried. who charges $3.00 for a small cup of rice? and lastly, the veggi dinner didn't get the normal veggies as everyone else but completely different vegetables. it also came with tofu, my wife ordered veggie dinner not vegetarian. overall unsatisfied and won't be back. this may be the normal in the pacific northwest since the 20 other habachi restaurants i have been to where primarily in southeast and midwest, however i hope not!

really enjoyed dinner & the experience. everybody should experience this at least once in their lifetime! we took our son here for his birthday. the hoods and cook counter/cook surface edges could use a little cleaning, and the service was a little slow. that said, loved our chef, we didn't have to wait too long to get a drink refill, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. they were very busy when we were there, and the staff did their best to meet the needs of all the guests. overall, we loved our visit! while not something we can do all the time, we will definitely be going back again.

i have eaten here several times and have really liked the experience. i ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. my husband was also very happy with his meal. we are going tonight to celebrate our son's 15th birthday. i am excited for another wonderful experience with great food!

this place is unfair to its employees. it is run by korean thieves that feel the need to steal tips from their own employees. do not eat here. and the food awful at best.

wow the negative reviews on here are just a tad exaggerated. i've been coming to this place for years and i've never had a "bad" meal. maybe the seafood has been overcooked once or twice but no big deal. hint: don't go here on a friday or saturday night when they're slammed (good sign, yes?) and expect absolute perfection. that's just dumb. they were sorely understaffed for a period of time about a year ago as well, which may have some influence on these negative reviews. i don't think it's possible for food cooked on a large griddle to be "sopping with oil" and i highly doubt their doors will close anytime soon given their popularity. let's try to keep it in check, guys ;) bottom line: this place is great and highly recommended by tons of people :)

we have eaten here dozens of times over the past couple of years, and the main problem is this: major inconsistency in the quality of meals, depending on which chef you happen to get cooking your meal at your table. i've had some good and just okay meals here, but i've also gotten countless meals that just plain sucked, mostly dependent on the chef. we've gotten ruined overcooked filet, food sopping with oil, food so salty as to inedible, overcooked and undercooked seafood (yuck), tiny portions, food tasting of lighter fluid, wrong order....well, you name it---you get the picture. the sad part is, that it does no good to tell them when things are wrong. you usually just get a mumbled "sorry" and then they do nothing to correct it---ever. unfortunately, the trend of bad meals seems to be getting more frequent, so we are finally done with this place. so, if you decide to try it, i hope you're feeling lucky. cuz that's what it will take to get the random decent meal cooked by one of the few competent teppanyaki chefs, and not one by one of the greasy slop-slingers. if you get a bad meal, don't expect a recooked item or a $ adjustment---it won't happen! personally, i'd rather not gamble on it. the quality only seems to get worse as of late. so, are you feeling lucky....?
