i come here when i'm in the area. while i can only give a breakfast review, it was really delicious.
this is probably one of yucaipa's hole-in-the-wall places that if a local doesn't tell you about it, you won't know its there. that or you have to be driving really slow to notice this place.
kopper kettle is a family style homemade diner made for the locals. while the mini bakery display wasn't really all there, it didn't stop me from wanting to try this place.
this place is packed on sunday mornings, you can tell that everyone knows each other and they can tell if your a newbie.
when you walk in you see a diner bar and in the next room is the seating area with all the tables. it was a bit chaotic in there, but that's agoodthing, it lets you know that the food is way better than the chain restaurants.
i had the spinach and mushroom omelet with egg whites and hash browns. the hollandaise sauce was reallygoodtoo. i'm not one for hollandaise sauce, but something about theirs just made this omelet so yummy.
they also serve their drinks in this jars that serve about 3-4 cups. that's great because then you don't have to keep asking the waiters to come back and refill your drink.
the pricing is really decent too. if you have $10 on hand you have more than enough to get yourself agoodmeal.
while i have yet to have this place for lunch, i will be back for it. if you ever pass on the 10 east going to morongo or on the way back, and it's past 6am, make a pit stop for some home loving meals that make you wish you actually lived in yucaipa.
