i attended the christmas event atkommuneand i loved the food. the place was very calm and the staff are hospitable. they even gave us home made wine and cakes as a gift.

i love this place , the whole vibe and the crowd here is too good ! an awesome place to chill during the weekend with friends . i must say that abbas was a great server, his hospitality was very warm and he represents thekommunecommunity in a really good way !

kommune, simply amazing the way its been. tranquil interiors, soothing atmosphere, tasty and yummy food. the hospitality is very good. good place to hangout with business friends, kitty parties and private group parties. i vouch for their quality of food and services. thankskommunefor the experience.

a nice, cozy place where you can just meet a friend or a place where you can go if you’re just looking to have a crazy night out with the gang, the versatility ofkommuneis what i’d appreciate the most.
as for the food, their chicken nachos was a great start to the meal and their black dal is to absolutely die for.
the staff were really courteous and just the overall environment was pleasing. can’t wait to go back here!

kommune is a restobar located in t.nagar..after hearing lots of positive reviews visited this place on sunday for lunch..coming to ambience this place as different level of seatings each on the floor level with dim lighting...service was really good...now coming to food which is very important
we started with non veg platter chicken wings was excellent...if your a avacoda lovers try avacoda fries is very good here .mutton kebab was yummy..all the starters were good nd yumm..in mains we triedkommunespl dum biriyani which was turn as my favorite one....finally in desserts we tried chocolate decadence which ws really good..

had a splendid afternoon at @kommunelife ! delightful decor, delectable food and a welcoming staff makes this place a must visit for all you food epicures. true to its name, which means community, the seating arrangement atkommuneencourages the idea of interaction with other guests. not only that, they even have cosy corners stacked with books for people who love their solitude. something i particularly appreciated and found extremely convenient was idea of having all the cutlery placed under the table. well, this place is truly all about bonding over friendship and food.

i wanted to throw a party for 15 people and homes on tokommuneafter lot of search. they gave us a separate place where we could play our own songs. the food was fantastic and the staff was superb. loved the ambience and the place.a must go place. thanks guys.

so if you areb looking to chill with your frnds,family and want to meet new people. @kommunelife is the place to be.

it's a hub in the hustling bustle of t.nagar. when you walk in, it makes you feel like your back in school/college. pretty nostalgic..

so where do i even start from the food, service, ambiance. ah! had a great date night with my ma.

7. last but not the least the dessert. chocolate decadence.
food was a plus. loved every bit of every bite. i mean its the perfect place to chill, drink and hog your worries away.
the service was done by a sweet guy called mithun. he stole our heart. the way he said ill get you the best they have to serve and served with all his heart. was so sweet.

for 2 ppl approx 1000 without alcohol.

kommunelife opened their doors recently in tnagar, chennai. a nicely designed resto/lounge bar,kommunestrives to focus on conversations, a community like feeling with a close seating arrangement with elevated positions. the food offered is extensive and not jus limited to finger foods like other lounge bars.
for starters i had their avocado and baby corn fry, main course included garlic naan with daal makhani, rice with thai veg curry and for desserts it was a mini dome of chocolate decadence. the avocado was a refreshing change to the paneers, alu & gobi fry we generally seem to get for starters.
the best thing aboutkommuneis that they don't have any formal dress codes for weekend nights, allows stags as well without any restrictions.

a community to have fun with your friends,kommuneis a new space in chennai offering food and drinks. the interiors of the space was my favourite part. the space is huge and has huge seating which makes it perfect for group visits. they also have a pool table and a big screen for viewing games!!!
kommune offers an array of drinks and food to choose from.

the non vegetarian food was comparatively better than vegetarian. i would suggest ordering continental and things like pizza or pasta. starters are really good.
they have a unique thing, avacado fries! never ever had heard of it, so it was exciting to try something new. do order and taste for yourself. my friend really loved the kafir lime chicken tikka!

kommune is not the typical restobar you would expect. it has a killer ambience with a corner where you can sit and read books just like a cafe, the main area has got contoured seating which is something i found really cool and the upper level has a pool table for those who want to show off their 8 ball skills.

being a sunny afternoon, i started out with the cold pressed sugarcane mocktail. it was absolutely refreshing and the charred lemon garnish was unexpected yet a pleasant surprise.

i then tried the braised pork belly which was cooked to perfection. didn't have any trouble slicing my way into it and had the perfect amount of fat. must try for all you pork lovers out there.

the beef volcano was the dish of the day. for those who adore desi chinese like me, this is something you can never get enough of.

the avacado fries were crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. a perfect marriage of textures. for those who who despise avacado, trust me you will fall in love with it after having these.

shish taouk was creamy and very subtle on the palette. the perfect starter for the non spicy kind.

rawa fried prawns atkommuneis the south indian take on the goan original. the prawns are topped with fried curry leaves, chilli powder and lemon. burst of flavour in every bite.

for the mains i decided to go with slow cooked dal makhni and jeera rice, which was absolutely delicious.

overall amazing place with great food and warm hospitality, i’m definitely coming back here.

in a city where space is a premium, some ny pubs come up with ingenious ways to use space.kommunehas done that. with lounge seating all over and levelled seating, it's a new look place in chennai. the drinks and the food are really good. the staff are very attentive and informed about the place and what it can offer.

what a day atkommuneit's a fantabulous night and don't have any concern about food ambience service and music... keep rockingkommunecommunity will be visiting as many times in future...

kommune in t.nagar is a new entrant in the existing long list of pubs and bars. it is difficult to create a new brand or to survive in a very competitive existing market . butkommuneis able to make its foot prints . architect has used each and every inch of area very wisely that in such an expensive area nothing should go waste . but while utilising the space it seems they concentrated only on value of space and not the comfort or privacy of the guests. you can not move around freely as their are steps everywhere, then seating arrangement is not comfortable and where the one table ends exactly from there the other table starts so no privacy at all.
the taste , quality and quantity of food is good. vegan raw mango salad is very nice. schezwan panniyaram is an average dish . chef tried to make it a fusion dish but it was more like masala panniyaram. chicken tikka was very nice . dal makhani , paneer tikka masala and tandoori lachcha paranthas were good in taste. from desserts section we ordered moti choor cheesecake - that was a disappointment at all.
