upon first arrival, it was a hotboxed but aromatically pleasant place with a contemporary feel to it-- pretty interesting. i usually like my meats extremely rare and so i put the brisket on the grill for the best of 20 seconds and swiped it onto my plate. dipping it in some 쌈장 and masticating the morsel with a medley of veggies, it tasted a bit odd. of course, eating mostly raw brisket is odd in itself, the meat tasted like it was frozen for a good, long while and then de-thawed for an uncomfortable period of time. whether i get a bug in my stomach or not is my responsibility, but that tied with fairly poor service (which the place was honestly understaffed at the time), it didn't make for much of a visit. i was glad to have tried it out as a novelty.
