good burger, but i wouldn't agree that it's one of the best. (shrug) maybe the one in fort worth is better.

awful now... before kincaid's expanded and opened locations in southlake and the highlands, i used to make the drive from arlington to ft. worth (off camp bowie) to eat at kincaid's. their burgers used to be really good and it was truly a burger joint. after they opened in southlake and arlington, the burgers became sub par, bland, the price increased...now it's more about making profit than making good burgers. i am saddened by the death of kincaid's.

arlington highlands kincaid's. this was the worst hamburger i have eaten. the restaurant was unclean and the soda machine had terrible tasting drinks and looked as if it needed a cleaning. the server waiting at the counter had a big piercing in her lip and was very repulsive. grill area looked like it needed a cleaning also. employees were unclean looking. never will go back again.

had kincaid for lunch , ate the lunch special with the crab and coconut rice and pineapples, flavours were very tropical and nice. we also had the steelhead fish, first time trying it, tasted delicious as well.
nice views of the water, staff were friendly and food tasted nice

perfect location. easily one of my favorite places in oakland. the location in jack london square is absolutely perfect and it really makes it a great place for dinner. the bar area is extremely nice, there are plenty of tables and you have a nice view of the harbor and the boats coming in. i've never had a problem with any of the food here, the burgers are really good if you're not trying to order something very expensive. the clam chowder is some of the best i've had and i make it a point to have some whenever i stop in. staff is very friendly and always outgoing, definitely check this place out if you have not been before!

the food is fantastic so is the view of the beautiful harbor. the restaurant is aesthetic in all aspects but the service is painfully s l o w.
had the halibut cheeks wow what a fantastic flavor explosion but my glass was empty for mor than 15 mins at a time. too much time waiting for follow up. this was a five star meal served at three stars !

nice setting. good views of oakland harbor. very attentive servers. unfortunately very bland food. the menu describes detailed flavor combinations and intensities which are uniformly absent from every dish. sherry finished french onion soup is sherryless (and saltless) steaks to be charred are limp grey. roasted potatoes are yellow and mushy. the disappointment was so complete we didn't risk desert. they must have hired the kitchen staff from a retirement home or worse yet a luby's. enjoy the view.

awesome burgers. been to kincaid's in the highlands countless number of times. the burgers and fries are always warm and tasty. good service from the people behind the counter. awesome atmosphere!

overpriced and small portions. i loled when saw the thimblefull of ranch dressing accompanying my okra!! yes, it's tasty (but i'll go to hideout burger in mansfield for a good value and outstanding food). i ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, two fries, an okra and two drinks for $26.00! yikes

kincaid's hamburgers = wtf?!?. how is this the best burger in texas? is it just over-hyped and my expectations are too high...maybe, but i found it extremely average and very pricey for a family of four.

i love to tryout good burger joints, but i would rather eat at whataburger than shell out twice as much at kincaid's.

sorry folks, i don't see how this place gets so much good publicity from various food critics.
