terrible!. i ordered the shrimp bento box...the rice tastes like paper paste, the shrimp is tiny and tasteless they just dump it in sauce and the soup is more bland than usual. i did not even make a dent in my meal. by far the worst japanese food i have ever encountered.

ups and downs. nice restaurant, has its pros and cons obviously like all the others.

pros: food is delicious, decently priced, side dishes are amazing, and the restaurant itself has a cozy feeling.

cons: not the greatest parking space, small, the student waiters and waitresses need more training because they struggle with orders during the busy dinner hours, the cook often mixes the pork and other meats with tofu and vegtables on the same pan and pot, also make sure to double check your receipts the cashier usually overcharges on my end.

other then that its good food with a dash of cons. hope you all enjoy.

decent foods, convenient for residents live at proud foot and wonderland area. long wait for food however and extremely bad service to some asian people.

mixed feelings. yes, mixed feelings about this place. food is usually good. service is usually horrid.

^standard for a lot of asian restaurants, especially korean.

but i am definitely a returning customer.

korean it is. first impressions. busy with clientele of korean descent. i usually see that as a good sign.

service: promptly seated, one waitress, overworked. there was a man helping out, don't know his exact role.

menu: standard. we had diner for 3, it was $10 more than for 2. the portions of mandoo and shrimp did not increase with the number of guests. i hate that, however, they are not the only korean restaurant to do that.

food: salad and dressing, good. miso soup, ok. mandoo, worst i've had. shrimp were over cooked. pork, yummy. beef yummy.

why i won't be going back: the unknown man helping out was serving our food with open cuts on his hands, not fresh blood, but unsightly. secondly i found the place to be very dirty. the wood trays that hold the main dishes were very dirty and obviously don't get washed between tables. the chairs were greasy, i didn't want to touch anything. oddly enough, they passed a "health" inspection only 5 days prior to my visit. when walking back to our car, the kitchen door was open with a view in. that put the final nail in the coffin for me.

this is a small restaurant in a tight location right beside soprano's pizza. it is not fancy, or pampered for expensive tastes.

the food is so good (see my uploaded pictures) and the waitress is very nice. kimchi house is very obviously family-run and i respect what they do there.

whoever says the atmosphere here is poor clearly does not and will never understand the concept of this kind of restaurant. it's a small hole in the wall but was very enjoyable to my boyfriend and i! if you are not a restaurant snob (stick to franchises otherwise), definitely give this place a look! you won't be disappointed!

it's a definite date spot for visits by me in the future.

i actually didn't really enjoy this restaurant. the wait was very long, the waitress was giving us extra stuff we didn't order but got charged for, and the food there isn't even that great.

great experience!. this was the first time that my sister and i went to a korean restaurant, as we are from a small town.

the food was delicious. i had kimchi fried rice, and my sister had bibimbap. both orders were huge! we couldn't finish it all (which was awesome). our meal also came with five side dishes (bean sprouts, fish cakes, kimchi, sweet pickles and pickled radish, and radish kimchi.. this is what we assumed) and a small bowl of soup for each of us.

the server was extremely friendly, and was considerate of the fact that we clearly didn't know what we were doing, being first timers and all. she was very wonderful and patient with us.

for all this food, it came to about $20. definitely worth every penny! i plan on bringing my entire family to this place at one point!

in the pictures that i attached, we had already been eating the main dishes for a while.

definitely worth checking out. for me, very unique tastes like nothing i've had before. one server tending to entire restaurant and was excellent. for under $30 it will feed two with more food than you could eat.

really good!!. we went to london for the day and decided to get some korean food (i've had a kimchi craving for months~). we were impressed with the food. we had kimchi pancakes, kimchi rice, kimchi stew... it came with lots of tasty side dishes and tea. ended up being $30. they also had a bowl of gum at the cash register, which i thought was cute (usually places have hard candies). the waitress seemed a little timid, but she did her job well!

authentic korean. at last, an authentic, reasonably-priced korean restaurant in london. rather small and hidden, but lots of variety in korean dishes and rather reasonable in price. will be back for more.

tasty authentic korean cuisine. this restaurant has become one of our favourites.

the dining room could use some renovations to improve the atmosphere however the friendly staff make up for lack of decor. this appears to be a family run establishment. you will be pleasantly surprised if you are looking for authentic korean food at reasonable prices.

we usually order the bibimbap, bugogi and spicy tofu seafood soup. the quality is consistently good!

fantastic food. great food and the attitude of service, although the waitress/family member of the owner doesn't speak english very well.
the price is reasonable, compared to other korean restaurants in town.
highly recommend for the beef teriyaki bento (dinner), labelled k1 in the menu. tasty and i will try this with other meat for sure!
