different for its location and ambience, attractive for its quality and feel, unique for its name and a let down for its service.
kopcha is a new and brimming restaurant, going with the tag of " sky lounge " it's a mere 4 floors high. the decor is upbeat and modern, the arrangements both outdoors and indoors are good. the interior seating is a bit small, but its a cozy vibe.
the service was slow, and the waiters are neither efficient nor that prompt. kopcha really needs to work on this aspect.
food:
1. organe mojito and ice tea: tried the two drinks and they were both refreshing and delicious.
2. cheese nachos: really liked the loaded nachos, generous portions of meat, gooey cheese and the balance brought by the baked beans was unexpected. i would've preferred a salsa dip to accompany it; it would really elevate the dish.
3. penne white: presented in what could only be described as a giant tea cup of sorts. a bit bland and in need of seasoning, also i really didn't like the bell peppers in the dish.
4. chicken stroganoff: the gravy and shredded chicken were yum and cooked well, but the gravy needed to be thicker and creamier it was more curry like. the rice was fragrant and cooked well.
on the whole the food was above average definitely, the prices are affordable, the service needs a lot of improvement and the food too needs minor adjustments.
kopcha definitely holds promise and i will definitely visit again.
