this place must be in your itinerary when you are visiting jodhpur. ambiance is just toogoodwith lots of vintage cars....actual feeling of palace. food was delicious. do not forget to try their amazing deserts, especially chai kulfi......and i must mention about the polite staff, they are super friendly and help you selectgoodfood items.

i went there to have dinner with my family. ambience was really good. i was really excited to try out the food just by looking at the ambience. it was an outdoor setup. but probably that was the onlygoodthing about this place. we ordered very standard dishes like paneer tikka and chicken tikka for starters and lal maas & gatta sabji for main course. paneer tikka was completely bland like i could only taste paneer in there. no masala nothing. it was like eating raw paneer. chicken tikka was good. now the part where it started going to the downward spiral. lal maas was very sub par. it was supposed to be a speciality but it lacked the taste and authenticity. meat was not tender and the gravy only tasted like tomato. again no masala as laas maas should have. we found a hair in the gravy and the staff didn't even apologize for that. they were just too busy attending a high profile customer that they just ignored everybody else. gatta sabji was extremely sour due to excess curd. and let me tell me you that i live in rajasthan so it's not the first time i was trying these dishes. finally we cancelled the laas maas. we had high hopes as the place has a very high rating andgoodreviews on zomato but trust me it is not worth even the half of the money you gonna pay. it's extremely costly and the food was just pathetic. overall experience was very bad. it spoiled our mood completely and i would not recommend anyone to visit this place and waste their money.

do not visit this place. it is extremely overpriced and not worth it. when i entered there i was so excited because of the ambience but the food and staff was very dissappointing. staff was ignorant. i did not like the service as it was slow as well as they tend to prioritize some customers and ignoring some i mean all the customers are equal they are paying you for every single dish. also there was a hair in my food which i ignored once but then i found hair in my main course also. i mean they are charging us alot atleast maintain some hygiene. food was notgoodat all. i ordered gatte and laal maas and it is my suggestion that this place fits for this saying " badi dukaan feeke pakwan".

this place is absolutely beautiful. the ambience takes you to a royal world. it was a perfect place to have a romantic candle light dinner with your loved one or even with your family. the service was okay. the food was average. we had laal maas and asked them to make it spicy but it was just mediocre in taste. basically, you must go to this place for the ambience but should not expect finger lickinggoodfood.

i had heard a lot about this place. went there for a meal but maybe i expected more than what it is.
first, the positives. there is adequate parking and a reasonably grand entrance. the location too is good; almost mid-town but uncrowded.
the ambience isgoodwith vintage cars on display. there's outdoor seating too, which isgoodfor dinner-time.
the food is not much to write home about. quite average fare and the service runs fast & slow in spurts. seems they have laid off some staff and find it difficult to cope when guests are more.
well worth a visit but more for the ambience and experience than the food.

this restaurant should be avoided at all costs if you have health concerns.
at the height of bird flu, instead of asking us if they should include egg white in our whisky sour - they added it anyway.
we asked to get it replaced and instead of trying to understand our concern, they became instantly defensive.
the whole experience of a nice open air dining restaurant was ruined because of the unprofessional staff and general manager. they wanted to fight till their last breath to keep rs 500 and insisted we drink something we didn’t want to.
on top of everything, the food was another big disappointment.
avoid this place if you plan to have agoodevening in jodhpur.

we visited khaas bagh during our trip to jodhpur basis zomato reviews and recommendation from conceirge desk at taj mahal.

the experience turned out to be sogoodthat we ended up visiting khaas bagh on both the days of our stay in jodhpur. the place is absolutely worth a visit in jodhpur not just for the quality of food but the superlative experience. they have on display 20 choicest vintage cars, with some collected by the royal family from wwii. mr. shane, the general manager, is an hotelier right out of the book. he was extremely knowledgeable about the cars on display and probably one of the best restaurant managers we've come across. he made us feel welcome right from the word go and made sure our experience was top notch.

we ordered a bunch of things across the two visits
1. bajra ki khichdi - best dish on the menu for khichdi/marwari food lovers. it's the best i've had in a restaurant
2. bharwan mirchi mutter - a unique concoction of flavors, combining chillies and peas. it was surprisingly delicious
3. raboda and hara pyaaz - it's their take on the traditional rajasthani papad ki sabzi and was very flavourful
apart from this, the breads and the paneer curry was right upto the mark as well.

i would highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner (lights up beautifully in the night with the cars being displayed in their full glory). try to get a seat in the open area if you can. i guess the gastronomical experience at khaas bagh will be hard to beat during my rajasthan trip.

truly according to its name, this restaurant is really 'khaas'. i can say that this is one of the best restaurants i've visited in rajasthan.
ambience- will take your heart away! ❤. the best ambience i've ever seen in any restaurant till date!
service- full marks on this, too! the staff is extremely efficient and very helpful.
food-
this place is basically known for its brilliant marwari cuisine.
i tried-
gatte ki sabzi- this is by far, the best gatta curry i've ever had. this is a must try. (5/5)
rabodi aur haro pyaaz- rabodi is another rajasthani delight made with sun-dried jowar papad. another must try. (5/5)
in the breads section, i tried
namak mirch ka tikariya- very flavourful and different. (5/5)
namak ajwain ka parotha- this was also good. (4/5)
malabari paratha- very well made. crispy layers and soft inside. just the way i like it! (5/5)
also ordered boondi raita which was decent.
the quantity is reallygoodand the prices are not over the top.
so, whenever you are in jodhpur, make sure to try out this place for their great rajasthani food! 😍😇

if you are a nihari lover you can try their awadhi nalli nihari it is different and tastes rich with their soft naan, kache ghosht ki biryaani is also a must try here, serving isgoodfor two people.

service is very nice and the ambience too, mostly try the ones with steering logo on it that is the house special.

it was a wonderful experience. had a great time with my loved ones. awesome food, excellent service and royal ambience. a perfect combination for a perfect night. the staff really took agoodcare of us. will definitely go next tym and will recommend others to try this place once for sure.

the place has a wonderful ambience though their "bonfires" are more show than adding any heat. there are lots of vintage cars around. the food isgoodbut not something which you remember for. prices are quite reasonable for the ambience they offer however.
