eating here is a no brainer.. seriously, quit searching around for another spot in addison, this is it. this is where you want to eat. but, stop now, and call ahead for a reservation, because with only 25 tables, you'll have to wait an hour (even on a weeknight) for a table for 2 if you don't.
this place is laid back, but way classy, friendly, but not pushy, and has amazing food, without being pretentious. friendly, attentive servers, owners who are on site and in the mix of action, and a chef who clearly takes pride in every plate, that's what you should expect. this place will raise your standards.
our only regrets were that we both didn't order the tuna steak: the chef sent us a taste of that and the filet mignon, and they were amazing!
hubby had the java pork tenderloin (huge!) and asparagus; i had the miso salmon and seasoned veggies. the veggies on both weren't perfectly perfect, but with the meat cooked divinely, we didn't really care.
great atmosphere, uncluttered and chic, with a tempting list of martinis and wines, feel free to take a seat in the bar to wait for your table.
this place is brilliant, and we'll happily drivebackthe 90 minutes to eat there on a regular basis.
