average.. i got the three burritos w/ rice & beans. the queso was a funky flavor, and the ground beef was very odd tasting - reminded me of the beef in chef boyardee raviolis. the chicken tasted a bit off, too. the chips andsalsawere pretty good, though. was not impressed, and would not go back.

the service was so slow that we just threw a $5 bill on the table and left. what clinched was once we finally got our chips andsalsaafter being seated for at least 12 minutes, they were cold, obviously store bought and had that cold greasy quality that sticks to the roof of your mouth. there are too many other good places to waste your time and money here.

good family place for weeknight dinner. the chips are light and crispy, not oily.salsais good, a bit sweet. queso is very good, thin for dipping.

fajita vegetables are well sauteed, not oily and not doused in seasoning. meat does have a seasoning on it, perhaps allspice or similar. i enjoyed the fajitas. the serving size is exactly right. my husband and i got fajitas for 2 and while we left a bit, we didn't leave much - approx 5 fajitas can be made, maybe 6.

my children opted for cheeseburgers and fries and they were excellent! curly fries cooked perfectly and butter and toasted buns.

we enjoy kassandras for a family meal with no frills.

kassandra's = keller hidden gem!. hubby & i have been to kassandra's 3 or 4 times and it's always good. we like going there because it's never overly loud or crowded. recently, we went on a saturday evening. we were quickly seated (facing the ranger's post season game - bonus!) drinks, chips &salsaare great & always arrive immediately. there are lots of menu options to satisfy everyone's mood/craving. after reading over the menu i decided to try the steak taco salad. the dressing options are ranch and kassandra's. i asked our server what the kassandra's dressing was. she replied it was a vinegar/oil/cilantro dressing. she had me at cilantro...lol. she apparently got hubby then too as he quickly decided to go with the chicken taco salad with kassandra's dressing. i can tell you i have had a a lot of taco salads and this one was by far the best! that dressing is, as guy fieri would say, the bomb! the salad itself was 2 kinds of crisp lettuce, tomatoes, a dollop of guacamole, beans & rice and tender strips of grilled, seasoned steak (or chicken). it had just the right amount of dressing and i loved that it wasn't buried under gobs of cheese...there was enough cheese to enjoy but not overwhelm the salad. the tortilla shell was what you'd expect. crispy & great for dipping into their tasty salsa... we finished our meal with their sopapillas. nice & fresh, served with butter & honey and dusted cinnamon & sugar. since i don't like powdered sugar, i love these!

if you haven't been to kassandra's, do yourself a favor & try it out. it's a true hidden gem. you won't regret it.
