surprisingly cheap when it comes to steak prices, over all it was worth it eating here, perfect for family get together or a date with your partner. a must try is the lip-on steak. yum yum yum!

we ordered their best selling steak. i had mine pan seared. the steak was not seared well it lacked seasoning and taste, instead of enjoying steak juices, it tatsed watered down and was definitely bland. for the most part the steak wrice was good but that's mostly it.

i hope they put soul back into their dishes.

a good casual dining located outside robinsons mall and beside antipolo public market. hearty meals, fast service, polite staff. i ordered the tommychops and the sicilian cheddar wings.

steaks are affordable and was cooked perfectly. the service was fast as well. we only waited for around 10 minutes for the order to be served. kudos to the staff who smiled all the time and immediately catered our needs. the only thing we didn't like are the flies inside the resto. overall, still a great experience.

i asked for a medium-rare, premium ribeye steak, it was well seasoned but it was more on the rare side. it was a touch raw in the middle and there wasn’t enough crust; it seems that their rare is blue rare and the their medium rare is rare. even then, the meat was a bit chewy and gristly. i had to hack it with some force but maybe the knife was just a bit dull.
mashed potato serving portion was a bit small.
when i visit again, i’d consider asking for medium, or medium well even, instead of medium rare.

l heard good feedback about the place thru friends but ate here with my family twice. they don't always have what's on the menu but the steaks are the best and not too pricey!

overall, not satisfied. steak is overrated. needs to improve on cleanliness. order anything but not steak. staff is friendly though. they close early!!!!!!!

if you are a meat lover, this place would be the best place to visit. affordable price and reasonable serving size.

karnevore is one of the affordable yet satisfyingly good restaurant that offers good meat for meat lovers. they have good service and good place too. parking space is not a problem at all.

hmm ... price reasonable.. food good... the way steak cooked need more knowledge... ambiance good... parking ok .... redeeming factor? craft beer in antipolo!

they very much lack the skill needed to properly cook a steak.

i asked for a medium rare and the steak was very much bloody and dark red inside.
even with a medium well steak, it is seared on the outside with even black lines that already made it bitter but the inside of the steak is still red and raw.
we complained and asked them to correct this but they assumed that we wanted a well done steak. they brought it back brown, and too tough to bite.


they serve nice parts of steak but they really lack the skill and talent to make that "perfect" steak.

either it's raw (or hilaw)

or it's overcooked.

sometimes it is good but then "sometimes" just means that they're inconsistent and i cannot trust and just gamble my 450pesos on that.



update:

gave this another chance and tried their steak again.

now they do not give the free bread with duck pate.

they simply give buttered garlic bread slices.

as for their steak, i'm sorry to say but there is still no improvement. ordered steak that that's supposed to be cooked "medium well" but upon serving, the meat inside is still a dark red in color meaning that it's still actually raw (hilaw)

this is disappointing because their steaks are expensive and they are expected to be good at what they're doing since this is what they do everyday.

dapat sanay na sila magluto ng steak dahil buong araw, paulit-ulit na nila ito ginagawa.

i have posted new pictures but zomato seems to have blocked it from public view.

anyway, should you decide to try eating here, just assert your rights and make sure that you get, average quality cooking, at the least.

kung hilaw, ireklamo. kung inayos nila pero sunog naman, bigyan ka nalang nila ng bago na dapat maayos.

if all else fails, just take a picture of their steak and write a review on zomato.

i just want to expose the truth and maybe this should be a wake up call to the restaurant to properly train their cooks/chefs.

surprisingly affordable for a restaurant that offer juicy steak. they can cater any meat lover foodie as they offer chicken, pork, fish, beef and lamb variety. the flavors are superb and spot on. plus points for the ample parking at the back.

poor sanitation from cooking crew. poooooooor sanitation as in! no ones wearing hairnet, not everyone is wearing an apron and some are still wearing bracelets and watch while cooking

steak was tender; they cooked it perfectly. pizza was spot-on (and unique). service was excellent. good value for money. been here about four times now and wil definitely go back.

portion of food is big. love the rustic ambiance. location is kinda hard to find. i recommend putting up more banners? or signs to make the place more known. servers are very nice and accommodating. ordered their best selling wings, porkbelly and tomahawk chops. i also liked the complimentary garlic bread. i love garlic bread.
