a simple upstairs restaurant offering tasty korean bbq and japanese fare. staff are friendly and accommodating. i didn't order any of the korean bbq, but i really enjoyed my japanese dishes. will be back.

had a great meal here with my mum - our first time trying korean bbq. very extensive menu makes narrowing the choices tricky, but everything i saw come out of the kitchen looked great. next time i'd probably shy away from the cook your own bbq but it does make for a fun dining experience. amazing drinks selection, with plenty to please beer, wine & whiskey lovers. recommended.

tried the "fried chicken" and "hot stone rice" and felt disappointed... it's kind of average to me and my friend. can't understand why so many people recommend it...

the food is average - could possibly be the only korean restaurant in toowoomba. service is fast and efficient. it's up stairs so a bit inconvenient for people with prams or wheelchairs .

been here 3 times. can be inconsistent, sometimes over flavored sometimes under. once had a hot pot and the stock was a frozen square in the middle of the water, along with still frozen seafood. still it is a bit more variety for toowoomba.

food was ok service ok staff so rude didn't leave a tip and definitely won't go back if it was only 1 staff member having a bad night it would be understandable but the whole three of them ruined what could have been an enjoyable evening for me and my colleges so if your after an enjoyable night do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all cost as it will make you feel utterly disappointed as i feel right now you don't go out for a goodnight to come home feeling like this

there was something missing in my bibimbap, shiitake mushrooms perhaps? it was average, they have an extensive menu and i will be coming back to try more dishes. but based on my visit i have had better korean before. you get side dishes which is standard and nice.

average food, terrible service, had to wait for 30 minutes for our raw hotpot to be brought to table then another 1 hour for the food to cook because there's not enough gas. man..

it's been a while since i've had so much fun at dinner. the staff are friendly and super helpful and the range on the menu gives plenty of options. we had single plates of chicken, beef, pork and prawns with rice for korean bbq and a party beer dispenser. fun for everyone.

this place was awesome considering it was quite authentic which is surprising for the location. if you have craving for fried chicken this is the place to go in toowoomba.

the atmosphere is good to with a selection of normal seating or traditional japanese floor seating options. they also have a good selection of drinks and karaoke in private rooms if that's your thing.

korean fried chicken with some asahis on a friday evening - best way to ease into the weekend. sharing meals is the best way to go, otherwise a bit pricey for one.

really bad

really expensive but not much in the plate
order a kimchi stew, it said there are beef slices in there. there were only 3 small pieces.

and after the meal, my skin was itch, i inly got that when meats are not fresh.

atmosphere is good but they taking toowoomba for granted as there are less/none competitions.

strongly disliking this restaurant.

as a regular visitor to tbah, i'm forever asking locals for their dining tips.  last month i tried kajoku and loved the atmosphere. the place was packed and without a booking we thought we'd have to go elsewhere. but a friendly staff member asked us to wait while she had a table cleared for us.  the food was really good after wading through a huge menu. next time, we'll try a bbq option and cook the meats ourselves the table hotplates.  oh, the crispy chicken is a must to share. i'll never eat kfc again!

food is amazing, staff are fantastic and accommodating. to those who complain about their 'poor english', it's nothing actually listening and paying attention can't overcome! seriously.
the cocktails and drinks are always interesting and the menu had something for everything. i brought my 'meat and 3 veg' grandparents who don't eat anything spicy here and they loved it.

the food here is really good! the menu is huge and portions are very generous. i ordered the bulgogi beef salad and the beef was lovely and sweet. my partner ordered the spicy chicken which was huuuge and he finished every last piece. we also had a crispy chicken to share- absolutely beautiful- like kfc on another level! unfortunately service was pretty shocking. the waitress spoke very little english so ordering was a mission and the plates were delivered waaay to spaced out. mine came a good 20mins before the rest and i had pretty much finished eating by then.
