out of kabobs?. i had heard so many good things about this restaurant, so i went with a friend of mine(she had never had greek food before!). the atmosphere was pretty welcoming. only one menu was brought out to us, and another one was supposed to come out shortly after, but it took them quite a while. the falafel appetizer was yummy(but it's honestly pretty hard to go wrong with falafel). i ordered the vegetable kabob. fifteen minutes later, the menu was brought to me with an apology, as they'd apparently run out of vegetables for the kabob. as a vegetarian, my only other option for entrees were the falafel, veggie, or hummus sandwiches. i ended up ordering the veggie sandwich, which was basically just greek salad in a pita- pretty disappointing, since it came with a greek salad on the side, and i was expecting a kabob with rice! still, i'm planning on giving the restaurant a second try, and maybe they'll have the necessary ingredients for the kabob. since it's, you know, the kabob house and all.
